  • Europeans supported cesar chavez and broke the backs of the grape industry in the 70s. Europeans because of 2 world wars are sympathetic to victims of racial bullying and violence. Sodastream will likely lose US market because of ensuing boycott. Stock will soon be crushed. Remember many sovereign wealth funds are middle eastern and likely to short stock with already high levels of shorts. I sold my shares and you should too. Cesar Chavez proved how effective boycotts can be. Will not get everyone to stop using Sodastream but enough to destroy profitability and margins. Less people buying syrups and co2 refills due to the boycott will drive down profits quite possibly permanently if the gaza offensive lasts too long and has too many casualties.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Sodastream is the buy of the century!!!!!!!!

Once Coca-Cola releases their syrup on any machine even Keurig, Sodastream users will be able to use it as well. Sodastreams installed base market power will trump any other companies product lines. Sodastream is smart by selling as many machines as possible so that when Coke syrups are available people won't buy keurig machines they will simply use the syrup with sodastream carbonated water. Carbonation refills will rise and US margins will soar. Super simple and Coca-Cola got it ALL WRONG. It was never about the MACHINE it was all about the INSTALLED BASE.
