They---who ever "they" are running this down to try and close the gap created on Nov. 7 when GERN gapped up from 3.60 to over 5.
Still, GERN has strong support at around 4.12 and resistance at 5.28.
No buyouts! I won't settle for peanuts... In another 5-10 years GERN will be the biggest pharma co around and whether more than AAPL, GOOG and XON combined. Why should we settle for anything less?!
They don't need to do a secondary for at least another year given their present financials, but I agree--too many spec players jumped in heading yesterday's CC... Once they're out (tomorrow probably) I'll add more shares.
It never ceases to amaze me that the nay sayers come out of the woodwork at every turn. This Motley Fool article says to wait and make sure the drug can do what it's showing. There is always time to get in later. Just to summarize: the stock has risen 500% in the last few months.
My question: Wait for what!!!! 1000%!!!!
Bottom-line: Whether we are at 10 or 15 next week, or next month, what's the difference? We were waiting to see if it works. And not only does it work, this is only the beginning!
But the price will most definitely be a lot higher by then... Still, I thank them for creating today's buying opportunity... Been buying more shares on every pull-back. So far, I added another +6K shares today under $6.
To me GERN presently seems very similar to the situation I witnessed with ACAD in Dec 2012. Few investors believe Pimavanserin would work because first phase III failed. But ACAD showed positive results following a second phase III trial. Stock shot up, but quickly retraced almost 50% the following days to $4 per share. Now we know ACAD was one of the best performing biotech stocks in 2013.
Psychologically, I will liken GERN to ACAD. It takes a while to change the mentality of the investors in general, not to mention the financial interests of some investors in short term.
New that the sheeple got crowded into buying puts these past 3 days, watch the WS crooks unwind those trades tomorrow by pushing this up tomorrow.

Kind of sums up this market...these days.
Oh well, I'm sure the CIA will find some one else to replace him pretty soon...just like they did in Syria.
Man, I can't wait until this imbecile is out of office... Worse than W!
Watch and learn.
