  • Partytime!!! He was so incompetent and dishonorable.

The shareholders would be glad to hear from a lawsuit concerning malpractice, duty of supervision infringement and fraudulent conversion. NVTL Former CEO Peter Leparulo is a wimp, liar, briber, cash wrecker, leech, criminal insider trader and he has over 500.000 shares + more options from compensation programs without any performances for the company. That is a fair swindle.

This incompetent former CEO received extra 500.000 shares for his termination. He has no honour.

    He could abandon!!!

Early estimates predict that this emerging market might be worth up to US$19 trillion (Awesome!), larger than every company in the S&P 500 combined.

How to strike it rich in the second Internet gold rush???

More than 99% of all “things” in the physical world remain “unconnected,” but that’s about to change.

    The management ?????????

I did not read this sentence. Sierra... you are right. The big question is, what is the management planning with the huge money (almost 300 Mill USD). Can it be that Novatel is going to be a Internet Carrier! I ask me always, why the company does not provide Internet for a fair price in rural areas in the world? Maybe that is the plan from Alex.

Early estimates predict that this emerging market might be worth up to US$19 trillion (Awesome!), larger than every company in the S&P 500 combined.

Now their bet is paying off. The company has already reported blowout earnings from its operations, and this is only the beginning…

How to strike it rich in the second Internet gold rush

More than 99% of all “things” in the physical world remain “unconnected,” but that’s about to change.

As regular Motley Fool Canada readers know, the Internet of Things, or IoT, is the biggest development in the technology industry today. To put it simply, the IoT is the connection of people, data, and objects to the Internet. And every day, more “things” are being connected to make life easier for their owners.

Imagine: What if your coffee maker automatically brewed a fresh pot just before you got out of bed each morning? What if your medicine cabinet could track prescriptions and automatically order refills? What if your washing machine could schedule loads at off-peak hours using real-time electricity prices?

These innovations are all possible today thanks to the IoT. Soon, just about every device you use — including your car, television, appliances, and alarm system — will be connected to the Internet. That means you will be able to remotely control just about everything from your PC, tablet, or smartphone.

The consumer market is just the beginning. For instance, the IoT could manage irrigation systems to save water, control traffic lights to reduce energy consumption, and exploit sensor-equipped garbage cans to slash waste management costs. The uses for companies, cities, and countries are virtually limitless.

During his keynote speech at the 2013 Consumer Electronic Show, Cisco Systems, Inc. CEO John Chambers predicted that the IoT will be bigger than any technological development in the past decade. According to Cisco, the number of devices connected to the Internet is projected to hit 50 billion by 2020.

  • Boston, Sept. 19, 2014, — At the “2014 Global Competitiveness Brands Top 10 from China” ceremony held by International Data Group on Sept. 17, ZTE Corporation won the Top 10 Brands title and the Most Innovative Award. The event was held together with the 2014 Sustainable Company Growth & Global Competitiveness Forum at Boston Convention and Conference Center.

ZTE Corporation, which formerly known as Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation, was founded in 1985. Now it has been publicly traded on Shenzhen stock exchange and Hong Kong stock exchange. In its 30-year-history, ZTE’s outstanding performance in innovation, products, patents, etc. has grabbed global attentions.

Lixin Cheng, senior vice president of ZTE Corporation and CEO of ZTE USA, attended the ceremony. “ZTE is a global corporation that we emphasize innovation and research. ZTE deserves the title,” said Cheng in Chinese. Now ZTE also stands as No. 4 among the unlocked mobile phones in the market of the United States.

ZTE has been focusing on innovation since it was founded. Cheng said ZTE has around 30,000 patents. In 2011 and 2012, ZTE’s number of patent applications stood as No.1 in the United States.

According to Mr. Cheng, ZTE’s move to the US in 1998 (headquartered in Texas) has created a “win-win-win” situation. In other words, ZTE has provided opportunities in employment, economy and technology for China, the United States and the world.

As a Chinese brand, ZTE plays an important role in the world stage. Now the company has established 18 research centers in countries including the United States, Sweden, France and India.

“ZTE’s innovating spirit helps China to gain reputation in the world,” said Cheng.

The “2014 Global Competitiveness Brands Top 10 from China” ceremony was a part of the Fifth Sustaining Company Growth and Global Competitiveness Forum. This year is also the second year that IDG brought the forum to Boston.

ZTE is a monster in comparison to our US Company.

sierracrashnburn, stay calm. I believe almost every Nasdaq company has the right from the shareholders to issue shares. 100 Mill shares are only written paper and are not diluting our shares. When i was listening the last presentation at Rodman & .... and i heart at the end the applause, i knew i am in the right company.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    1. To approve an amendment to the Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation of the Company to increase the number of authorized shares of the Company’s common stock from 50,000,000 shares to 100,000,000 shares

I think either the management plans a acquisition worth over 50 Mill USD or protects the company against a hostile takeover for a too cheap share price.

I like what i see. Verizon gives our MIFI much more GB for less money. That is great for rural areas customers. More than 65 Mill People lives in rural areas in North America without high speed internet. When our new management expands our MIFI to Asia, Africa or South America the market is tenfold so high.

Falcone will take his seat. This incompetent former CEO Peter Leparulo must go in jail concerning malpractice. That can not be, that he has so many shares for free and did nothing only burning cash, crashing our value, criminal insider trading and reported 16 th quarters a huge loss for the company. He is such a wimp.

Modus™, a world leading end-to-end insurance telematics solution provider today announced a new partnership with Bell, Canada’s largest communications company, to be the exclusive carrier in Canada to bring the innovative suite of Modus Go™ insurance telematics solutions to insurance providers and their customers.

Modus is changing the dynamics of the global automobile insurance marketplace with its Modus Go solution, which combines real time tracking of driver behaviors: speed, acceleration, braking, and GPS mapping to incorporate situational awareness of the environment where these driver behaviors occur: type of road, topography, surroundings.

The resulting data provides the potential to improve driver safety by offering drivers a detailed understanding of their driver habits and skills, presented through customized driver assessments. In turn, these assessments can generate customized educational content to mitigate potentially dangerous behaviors and recognize and promote safe driving habits.

The Modus Go suite of products also integrates important safety products targeting common driving distractions like cell-phone use and programs tailored to young drivers and their parents.

“The catalyst for the insurance telematics revolution is connectivity from vehicle to database and back to the driver.”
