Mmmm... Not good - chart indicates technical breakdown now after a huge run. CAT may be in trouble here. Some protective measures here would be prudent indeed.
Once again, the desperate and egotistic Hackman is at it again and everyone jumps! Be cool and don't sell here. HLF is not a Ponzi. It's been proven several times by the Courts, foreign countries and the Justice Dept. Do not be such lemmings. Grow some B#$%$ and stick with your convictions.
Icahn (now a friend) has 17 million shares of HLF. I rather bet on him than Ackman here. Their recent track record justifies this. Period.
Hey, if CMG, a mexican fast-food chain is worth trading at 60 times earnings, LL can be $100 a share.
Mark my post - in just a few days (after the load up) positive comments will start to surface all over WS. Just the same old game at the expense of the weak hands, and the SEC is too dumb or is too complacent.
I hope all shorts had the same mentality and logic as you! Way off! Please go ahead and short more here. Please. Even if the demand wasn't as high as initially expected, let's say 20% lower, then their median of projected revs would be $560m. That's like 5 times higher than the previous year's revs. At a modest 10 times revs, the stock with even half it's current growth should be worth north of $5B. That's over 100% higher than it is now! That's $33+ per share (in case you can't figure it out). ;)
Even Karen Finerman of CNBC Fast Traders just acknowledged that the timing of two downgrades today was very suspicious. DO NOT SELL into this weakness. GTAT and AAPL are partners for the next major evolution of the iProducts - And GTAT is only a $2B company here. This could be the next Arm Holdings.
Classic short attack. NOTHING is wrong here fundamentally. Just technical - with $16 as support. HOLD ON to your shares. You'll be very happy in a few weeks. Don't lose focus of what's really going on with the Company. Management projects potential revs of $800 million!!! That's a huge jump. Don't give in to the WS crooks. Also, put a limit sell on your shares so the WS crooks can't borrow the shares to short.
Agree. Nothing fundamentally wrong here. Just analysts making noise. Go back and read managements' comments in the last earnings release. That's who you should listen to. Buying here and more if it drops.
Maybe GTAT will also supply the lens cover for the iCamera, the next super product of AAPL which knocks GPRO off the map.
Classic pump and dump. Hope you didn't buy last couple of days because this thing is going to implode back to $30ish in days. Standard boiler room stuff... Be careful here.
As I posted earlier, this was an obvious pump and dump. The stock will now fade back to the mid $50's barring a buyout. I've been doing this for a while now and today's price action confirmed my previous assertions on this board - I predict more high-volume deterioration from here. Hopefully you sold when I first posted my prediction.
Shorts are playing with fire here. This is not a 3D company with a big promise and extreme valuation but no profit! It is a true business with a massive supply contract from AAPL with tons of evidence of a huge ramp up in production, waiting for THE announcement for the next generation of iPhones. There are plenty of legitimate targets out there for shorts. This $2.6B company isn't going to fail. Go check the ridiculous price action in 3D printer clan today, or a number of other high-flyers with a huge valuation like Z, ZU, GPRO, NFLX, SCTY, ONVO, AMZN, CMG or GMCR just to name a few, prime for shorting not GTAT!?
Not as much. DDD is definitely the poster child for pump and dump though. No organic growth and huge valuation? No wonder most of the big boys are shorting this. I know because I track shorts for a living. It always comes down faster than it goes up, always. But I'm sure you know this as you make your living doing this.
Obviously new to trading, right? Well, some have to learn the hard way. DDD in the $50s next week if not sooner.
OK have you taken a look at today's chart? And if so, how could you expect DDD to go up from here?! Classic pump and dump, yet again. Hope will not fuel profits in the markets.
So this is a company that is acquiring other businesses to generate growth and is exciting everyone based on what?? The "story" of 3 D printing? When will people learn?
Exactly - except Bush drove it off the cliff and Obama pulled it all the way up, into a ditch...
