I think there's decent probability they hit 80k, but I also think the long term story is intact if they only manage 70k.. The bar is pretty low right now..
The only thing that matters is demand going forward, if Tesla hits 90k units this year will anyone care about how many people cancelled an order they placed in 2013? Growing the company is all investors seem to care about at this point. Like Elon said, he prefers to drive low and close to the ground but a lot of people out there love their SUV experience, especially the main segment they are targeting..
I'll finally be able to see it. Tesla's are all over the streets here, I see multiple every day now. I remember the excitement of seeing my first in the wild, can't wait for the X to ramp up
many many years ago I worked a Butyl machine, that stuff is the worst, ruined everything I owned sticking everywhere and took my fingerprints clean off, using methyl-ethyl ketone to clean it off
just sayin, I mean come on, the thing is a master piece! Face facts, you are STILL wrong about the Model S, it's STILL an amazing car
Tesla already has a number of dealership licenses in other states, they require them to open up their stores by law in some states..
I was talking to a friend last year and he asked me who I thought would win the election, I said "Bernie" and he actually replied "MADOFF"?? LOLLLL
I didn't post misinformation, you claimed the bonds should trade at par if the stock goes down below the conversion price, that is wrong, it would imply there was no value given to the conversion, not only that, the stock has always traded well below the conversion value even when they were first sold
buying US corporate bonds is too much of a pain for me as a Canadian, and I don't trade options at all (too gambly feeling for me).
I sold my initial cost out from my shares, so there's no real risk of me losing anything but profits at this point..
"""From what source do you think Tesla will fund the redemption of $660 million in par value of the 2018 notes when they mature in 2018?
Nomore: I agree with you, I always said I thought they'd convert to shares. The only way I see them selling for cash is if the Model 3 is WAY ahead of schedule, and if history is a lesson chances are extremely slim that will happen.
Either way it doesn't matter, I won't deny that beyond 2018 it will be a huge make or break it time for Tesla, if the Model 3 gets decent margins and sells well, I think they will do fine (along with us shareholders), but it could easily go the other way. I always thought Tesla was a long shot, same as Elon.
You should see some of the Stem cell long shots I'm invested in LOL
what does less than 80 cents matter? If it traded at 81 cents before and then went back to par when the stock went back up and followed the stock the entire time, then investorgator has to be wrong. and that's happened..........I can't show you because I'm not flying to Manhattan to point out how to read a chart, LOL
those bonds have NEVER been in the money and have almost been this low before and recovered to par value again, proving your theory is bunk..
