Topline results from trial will be reported, most likely, in May. The company even said that they will be presenting this data at a conference. May is the latest they will report, but it could be as early as March if they want to get the good news (hopefully) out there.
I could never quite figure out why this sold off so sharply in the first place. Was it the biotech bubble letting out some air? People realizing this company is not going to get bought out? Or was there rumors about their NDA not being accepted? Well, all these are forgotten now, I guess.
Umm, why are you repeating a message I wrote before?
Anyway, it is kinda hard to believe this stock was $60. That's because it never actually was.
That's not it at all. The market is saying that this company does not have the cash to put this heart drug through phase III trials, not to mention the existing pipeline.
Once an offering is done, possibly this will head higher. Depends how much dilution. Unfortunately I'm caught in this downfall and the lower it goes the worse the dilution will be. Can't someone pump this sucker!? lol
I think you were doing a little too much oinking when the stock had doubled from when you bought it. Try taking some profits next time on the way up.
gogspn4ver, are you high or something? "latest drug", "some issues", "supporting issue". You sound like you don't know what you are talking about at all. Proper research? Shorting because you say, "If I remember there were some issues", makes you sound like a clueless idiot. Can't wait to see you ripped a new hole when the buying kicks back in. lol
Just being goofy, no intention of disrespect. Sometimes words on a screen don't convey tone very well. I added the smiley face to try to show that. No drinking tonight, but maybe this weekend! :
"Israel's son Michael committed suicide in 2011 while struggling with painkiller addiction." Not to be a total #$%$, but I'd say Michael was not strong enough to combat his demons. Addiction is a self-inflicted problem; blame cannot be displaced in this situation. Wow, didn't expect to be so opinionated over that. lol
Congrats on CLDX! I sold CLDX way, way too early. I bet you made a killing on it.
I agree that this company looks very good, but there are some concerns. Approval looks likely, but not for sure (what about manufacturing issues, i.e. defects...how about product tampering by the patient). And then there is the execution risk, which is the biggie for this company/product. The market is huge, but they are going to have to do a lot of convincing hospitals to switch...it is by no means automatic.
I give Zalviso an 80% chance of approval so I think the risk/reward is quite good here. But, I'm going to cut back on shares after approval (hopefully).
Hope your DD doesn't turn up any nasties. Best of luck to us!
Like duh? Like, are you, like, 12 years old? Like, of course you are...duh.
"Reverse mergers are 98% of the time a total scam." I would say 97%, not 98%. This is one of the 3% that is not a scam.
"and all you poor schmos who bought after the run, or held into it without selling, soil yourselves :-)" Hmm, that sounds like an order - go soil yourselves! And a happy face? Are you a coprophiliac?
"You will learn, or you won't" Well said; a true poet you are. :)
Nice call on the short-term, but I'd say the sellers are getting exhausted here. Don't get too cocky; kissing your own #$%$ can really tire ya out, fool!
