I think that nobody will be trying to buy DST. Its pretty much kept afloat by Argus, who used to be its little sister. Plus the BFDS and State Street Bank stuff going on...no its not going to be bought for a quick profit as its not worth acquiring (see balance sheet). So ignore the comments that DST could double or quadruple...it is not going to. Its easy for a "client" to get a desktop PC and run some of the same applications types that DST charges for, it don't have to be on a mainframe anymore...but lots of their stuff is still in Cobol language....very old...1960's old!
