hammertimeee, what I've learned over 20 years of investing is...
"Stocks never seems to change, until they do."
Don't confuse past history with how the stock will behave moving forward.
Yes, a stock might do the same thing eight times in a row, but when you assume it will do it a ninth time, that's when it usually does something completely different.
I remember following the stock, AKAM in 2002.
It spent MONTHS, doing the same thing over and over!!!
It would dip to .91, then it would rally to .98, only to return to .91.
Month after month is did the same damn thing....
It seemed like it would NEVER get out of that pattern, then suddenly
it dipped all the way down to .56 before soaring way over a buck.
Today, AKAM is over $56.00 a share!
MRNA was up 45% yesterday.
If we end today down 8% or 10%, I will GLADLY take that two day average!
Just relax y'all..... :)
We should see $19 or $20 by EOY.
Folks, I really doubt today's Marina Biotech rally had ANYTHING to do with that #$%$ Martin Shkreli. If you didn't notice, EDGAR Online Financials released their quarter numbers on MRNA at 1:04pm today. The rally started less than 15 minutes after this report was released. A bunch on Wall Street investors must have really liked Marina Biortech's most recent quarterly numbers or at least saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
Folks, MRNA averages about 50,000 traded a day, so the fact that we are
over 1,000,000 shares traded today is very BULLISH!!!
