I can tell your frustrated and rightfully so.....those are questions that need to be answered. I look at SGI, at the current price, as a risk worth taking as if even moderate steps are taken the value can finally come out. Why are these guys such douches? Do they know how to play the wall street game? if not, get the hell out and let someone take over that can
market is broken but time to buy value plays for the long term, knowing they will go lower near term and buying in chunks
I'm playing XCRA too as well as DTLK and SGI Got in too early on these but small positions and building
also loving crnt / extr at current levels. MIght buy some avnw
sold a bunch of mrvc, rdcm and nugt at a profit to make these spec plays possible.
I have followed your posts and tend to trade in a similar fashion although not picking the tops and bottoms as accurately. Your record is impressive and agree with your logic.
when you say the next pass through will be substantially higher, are you saying that it will eclipse the $5 range and will overshoot to $7-$8? What are your thoughts and are we in the first progression to that number?
Also, what is your take on the 1.5 day rally in energy? Dead cat bounce or something more meaningful? You playing anything specific? I am long WPX, CWEI, MHR, LPI, EPE and a few others....
TIA for your input
This market is luring me into want to rebuy but something doesn't smell right. It is evident that this doesn't trade with the overall market which also makes it an opportunity.
Anybody besides koomar buying down here?
He has followed this company for quite some time. Curious if he is still holding or if the lack of M&A made him bail. It has been a frustrating ride. I just bought some more Friday to lower my PPS on valuation alone. This is getting quite ridiculous.
This AM's press release's main takeaway is margins! Now it gives credibility to the CEO's comments on profit outlook despite revenue stagnation which the analysts had a hard time piecing together. Margins in the US are in the mid 30's while elsewhere are low mid 20's. This gives me conviction that they are headed in the right direction.
What needs to be balanced is the net new revenue opportunity given these are existing customers which the PR does not specify. At least it indicates business is picking back up and more importantly the profitable business.
Nice job posting a 'what seems to be credible ' reply but a CEO would be out of his mind responding like that and not deferring to IR. He can't tell you that and not reiterate guidance to the public.
Close $1.50+ positive technically. Just got to be patient with this one. Many are bought in in the low 1's so the profit taking will be plenty. Keep an eye on the volume as it precedes prices 80% of the time. This could be $2.5 by year end and the real opportunity is 2016 if growth comes back
Seems the board is back on topic at least briefly.
I gave up on this thing a bit ago but price looks interesting but feel it's a trap. If anyone is buying at these levels care to elaborate on why? My main surprise is not the lackluster performance but the lack of news, even bs news. I thought the new CEO would at least raise the level on the marketing front but it's pin drops.
The only positive I can see is Narrod focusing on getting this company sold and the reason for the hush hush. In the meantime Calix is crushing it as there is news behind the scenes and they seem to be everywhere.
I think the latter part of 2015 and 2016 will be the year of micro / small cap m&a irrespective of Zhone. They are trading at the biggest discount while large cap tech is at a premium. If niche / or targeted markets are needed, now is the time
