You will be very happy in 2016. That is, if CHK has not been sold by then.
SSE upgrading lots of equipment and has a 27 month back log with CHK. It now also has 21% of non CHK customers. They will be fine.
Every stock I own has sold off after earnings regardless of performance. Some recover the same or next day. Be prepared, the shorts want to scare people out of their shares.
IMO, Nat Gas will still penetrate the utility market as long as it doesn't go over $5.

“We continue to see no demonstrated sense of urgency from the utilities, due in part to mild summer weather, lackluster demand and strong natural gas injections over the past several months,” the company said.
Not a rosy picture for coal.
You felt it necessary to dilute shareholders over a year ago only to sit on the money and do nothing for shareholders, except for diluting their shares. It is time to put that money to work or buy back shares. I also suggest the cash flow in this current qtr pay off the debt, or we have a bigger cash pile that will not be used.
OPEC's Chief claims 50% of shale operators will stop producing at $80. American CEO's on earnings calls say they no plans on restricting projects at $80. IMO, both sides want to see a decline in production.
I have already seen articles of expensive Artic and oil sand projects being cancelled. Also reading old off shore oil rigs being sent to the grave yard. All signs pointing to reduced drilling in the long term. How long before we see results........????
Of course, half these people, as I would, will just look at the brackets under the car. If not rusted, they will probably forget about it unless they take it in for other repairs.
