How long was AA in the dumps and now, because of Ford, they are doing much better. Ford hitting a speed bump but expects better times in 2015 forward.
I have noticed all my large float companies get very manipulated. Then you have Elon's Musk companies that have very small floats and are bloated pigs. IMO, the shorts don't feel like there is ever a major problem covering their shorts on high float companies, so they , "have their way with them".
Reinhart just lost half his employees when they sold SSE. Maybe he felt concern for his job, or did not approve of the SSE spin-off?
6-8 Billion should be plenty of income but not when you have 3.8 Billion shares outstanding. GM has half that amount. They bought back shares to give back to shareholders. What a deception. They bought back enough shares to give to conversion bond holders. So in reality, the share count will NOT go down.
It is severely oversold and shorts must cover at some point. Looks like a good time to me as 2015 and better times are just around the corner.
I googled but could not find any verification of your $50. Please provide a link. Secondly, has any of these projects ever come in on budget? They are paying 500,000 per day for the exploration rig.
Where is our 250 P/E?
You may think I am crazy, but am serious as a heart attack. Tesla sells 55,000 cars and has half the market cap of Ford. Mark and the management team really need to do some soul searching and ask themselves, why.
They need to come up with a very good electric luxury car that defines the future, and convince the Market they can be an innovative leader. Instead they try to be the number one seller. However, that isn't working and not what the market is rewarding.
Tesla has opened up its patents and Ford need to move forward. Making cars lighter to meet café standards is old school while tesla is the New school.
They should pay for their faulty products.
He just lost 50% or more of his employees when they sold SSE. Maybe he doesn't like to live in a budget and he can work with AM and just spend, spend, spend, as they don't have any of those pesky shareholders.
Gotta work thru it but the sell off was a bit overdone considering we have a 9 P/E and the market gives TESLA a 250 P/E for selling 55,000 cars.
This poor quality #$%$ can not happen on the future !!!! How many cars do you need to sell to pay for such a recall? This is not about quantity, it is about quality.
We had 50-75 years of oil when it traded at $40. It is the cost to extract it that determines the price as much as supply and demand. Why? If the price drops below the cost to extract it you simply stop extracting it !
