Agreed, liquidity is not an issue....big question is whether deepwater will recover by 2018. Have you seen the number of brand new rigs scheduled for delivery in the next several years? Are you aware of the great number of UDW rigs which will roll off high day rate contracts in the next 2 years? Are you aware of the large number of idle UDW rigs available now? Are you aware of the currently contracted rigs seeking farm-out opportunities because the operators are looking for a way out? Better start studying! Be carefully, just because some executive tells you that deepwater will recover by 2018 it doesn't make it so! The supply/demand metrics tell me that the recovery could be many years away.

book value is a figment of managements imagination....6th generation drillships selling for $65 million at auction, RIG's book value for these assets is over $700 million.....hahahahahaa
you have a lot to learn, I will try to educate you, but it will be a tough lesson.......
need to take a chainsaw to the cost structure
there is a thing called time value of money.......hahahahahaaa
hahahahhahahahahah this is why you can't trust "accounting" valuations!
Ocean Rig just purchased a UDW drillship for $65 million....that will give you an idea of what RIG is worth......next to nothing! hahahahaha
some idea of what UDW assets are worth now........hahahahahahaah
Try going back to the beginning of 2015 and read some of my old posts, and educate yourself.....shorting rig has made me a TON of money.....you do have a good average price, if it is true....show me where you posted your "buy" at $8.05
Been short since the 40's, it is very painful to watch this go from $8 to $10, hahahahahahahahaha
Held for recycling per the fleet status report, you are a mis-informed neanderthal, like most on this board, idiot!
