Not only did the share price increase 4% today but the dividend is payable in less than a month .. if youre short you have to pay the dividend.... show me the money.....

one of the many things wrong with this stock is it is so small the traders and marketmakers can manipulate it for years keeping it in a small trading range .. not only that the street knows if they ever do get a blockbuster drug they will immediately go back to the market to get more money and dilute the shares... the failed phase 3 cost us 10 to 12 dollars in share price.. i really dont see a good reason to hold it after this expirience with another failed bio tech that every one talks up i doubt i will invest in a biotech again....

After reading the news releases, it doesn't sound all bad. They didn't succeed at achieving the endpoint but did double the life expectancy of some patients and there were fewer side effects with NKTR 102. Unfortunately these are end of life drugs that are used when everything else has failed so if NKTR 102 can in some cases double the months a person has remaining with fewer side effects it could be another option that a dr has at his disposal.. is it a cure or a blockbuster they were hoping for... it doesn't look like it at this time...

You could have bought bio tech Incyte Pharm. for 25 dollars a share about 18 months ago .. current price is 105 dollars per share.. You could have bought NKTR about 18 months ago for 13 dollars .. cuurent price is 10 dollars.... Good example of one company doing everything right and the other everything wrong.....Guess which one i still own.....

good points.... but they still didnt meet their endpoints... one anylist subtracted all future revenue that 102 was projected to it that much better than anything drs currently have? sounded like itt was tolerated better with less severe side effects?

i dont know why you are taking such joy out of the shareholders getting it stuck to them.. whoever you got a beef with it isnt the sharholders the CEO is getting his huge salary no matter if the share price goes to a dollar its us shareholders that feel the pain not the CEO or upper management... Im with you the stock and company pretty much suck but unfortunately im stuck with the peice of #$%$...

  • I thought WR was over priced at 44 dollars a share.... They say the reason for the drop in Utilities is profit taking and the possibility of interest rates rising in the near future.. But Tell me how much difference is a 1/2 per cent hike in interest rates going to make... Might be a good time to start adding thru the DRIP again... Good Luck...

  • instead here we are at 12 again.... with the right news and the rally in biotechs this week we could have easily broke thru the the 52 week high and maybe 20 a share ... Biotechs went thru the roof this week unfortunately NKTR wasnt included . I would like to hold this stock but feeling less confident about it... a few things that wory me are...1. Wall street doesnt seem too optimistic about the deals NKTR is making or the future revenue stream these deals will bring... To spend years getting a drug thru the process and then if it finally gets apporoved and then to just get 20% of sales??? seems like they are giving away the house? 2. Biotechs are probaly in a bubble will NKTR get sold off when people take profits in biotechs? 3..wasnt the phase 2 trial messed up for NKTR 182 when one of the groups falied to prove anything conclusive? A new pain drug without the addiction that NKTR 182 might provide would be huge but of course that news is a year away... i think i read nktr 182 has fast track approval but that may not mean as much these days as it once did???

I was wondering what endpoint they were hoping to achieve also? was also thinking how long will it be before we see another up day on this stock?

what was the reason for the big drop off in share price a few years age at one time this stock and RNF were flying high.. Do you think UAN can maintain the dividend? i would think being in the agriculture industry the revenue stream would stay pretty consistent?

The 2 buck haircut is over

you mean a 10 dollar haircut dont you? JP Morgon issued a statement on March 10 saying if results were positive for 102 it could mean a 5 dollar bounce in the share price from 14.50 factor in the rally by bio techs this week and it would have been perfect timing for it to break 20 dollars a share.. instead its wait till the next beacon study....

I could be wrong but i think UAN uses a lot of nat gas in production so if nat gas is cheap UAN should benefit.. i used to follow this stock but after a big drop lost track of it.. With that said with cheap nat gas and a 12% dividend im surprised this stock has done much better.....

i like this stock but doesn't the strength of the Dollar effect the business? the dollar gets stronger and imports (competitors) get cheaper? also oil prices make it cheaper to import foreign fertilizer?

as a holder of this stock i hope you are wrong.... i think plenty of people will still want to watch cable on the tv vs. watching on a phone or computer... if att and verizon fail where does that leave the almighty Apple .. ATT and verizion subsidize apple phones to get people to sign up and then provide the network.. take a look at facebook market cap facebook derives all their revenue from selling adds yet market cap is twice as much as att IMO Facebbok isnt that different from the old AOL of the 90's just with a lot bigger market cap...ATT dividend gets paid in a month and theshorts will have to pay up...

its a perfect sized company for the share price to be manipulated. of course with the right news it could turn on a dime too... when and if that ever that happens is anyones guess at some price i guess it will be a buy again.. someone posted no institutions have sold but i think if an institution is short a stock they are considered owners as well as someone who is long... i think the Baxter drug will get approval what NKTR will recieve from that I dont know.. i have read the Baxter drug will have stiff competition in a crowded field if it is approved.I bought a few shares of ELI lilly a few years ago of course all the anylists were saying sell Lilly back then when it was 40 dollars a share its now over 70. so you never kno. if you listen to the know it alls u will be buying when u should be selling and visa versa...

was buying NKTR at 12.75 and selling INCY at 25... with that said Nktr has a good pipeline and one drug already approved plus they seem to have entered into some good partnerships with big pharma .. Unfortunately NKTR could be 2 or 3 or 5 years away from getting a home run drug approved... and if you factor in the possibility of a big overall market correction sometime between now and the next 5 years NKTR could fall alot... but you still have the pipeline .. To me the big home run drug is the painkiller drug that is if it is somewhat effective in controlling pain and much less addictive than the opioid drugs currently on the market I would think there would be a large market for such a drug.. I read an article years ago where the author was trying to find the next stock that would perform like Microsoft did in the 80s and 90s He chose ISIS pharmaceuticals .. Well Isis is still around and currently is in the 60s but never became the big drug company that was envisioned...

  • CBRL has a 3.8 billion market cap at that price each location is valued at 6.5 million dollars.. I don't see it... With that said I wish i would have picked up some shares 5 years ago...
