Interesting thoughts eggfoo...did you also research US and Irish Securities Law to determine if such a transaction were legal....?....I don't think so...I'll stick to my understanding of things as they are thank you....
In my opinion the fact AMRN cleared $2.50 and did not sell off at $2.60 is very telling. We knew there were and remain sellers at these levels. Those at 2.50 have mostly sold. Those at 2.60 will likely have their chances next week. Then what ? IMO, even without major news, like a lawsuit victory, or further gains in scripts, or more Baker Bros. type buys, this stock will pass $3 in May. With positive major news it will reach $5 in June. Why ? To my knowledge, this is the only pharma under $5 with products now and a possible blockbuster in 3-4 years. The Baker Bros. didn't buy above $2 in order to sell at $3 or $4 or $5. Most funds and investment houses can't buy a stock under $5. So if it reaches $5 (assuming the market, technicals and good news push it there), the funds will just then start to come in. And then what ? I say between $8-10 by end of year. Sometimes, evidence of stock price direction is lost in plain sight. IMO, this weeks price movement is evidence that AMRN is going higher, much higher. GLTAL and enjoy our first warm weekend.
i dont know what Schwab is posting but it is the same as the March 30 filing imo.
there's some litigation that should reach verdict soon; new sales coming out of China later; and recent signs of rising existing sales...recent funding got it to this level...
hahaha....mario that is so cold...hey...nice strong end of day action though, ya never know, could be a 5 pm release..
Now The Street chimes in MX is setting up to soar. The IoT thing seems like the honey spot and if MX can make some noise... all would be candy and nuts...let's hope the pros are right and we're not stuck with ifs and buts...please share whatever news and ideas you have here....gltal
So what ? Pps had jumped to 2.50 and there were sellers. This stock was accumulated over the past 18 months at any where from under a dollar to 1.75. Getting back to 2.50 triggered those profit takers. That's all it was folks. Next time it hits 2.50 sellers will come again but there should be fewer of them and so on until the resistance dissolves. That's my positive view. And to all a good weekend of peace and joy.
That's what it looks like this morning. Higher volume today, big price move, and that spells money. They could all be traders just taking a shot on positive news to come, or they could be something else. I'm rooting for something else. GLTA
thanks for the liquidity bigcash and nice trades, but as a long, can't say I'm sorry that Zacks may eliminate a swoon tomorrow. It's about time this company got some good mention and that piece put a nice spotlight on MX. Good luck in all your long MX trades.
great dream....next time please remember the date of the news release...thank you...gltal
As to the new commish thing there is no doubt it is outside the Fed Rules in this matter and will have no bearing on the time of ruling. As for my opinion on the favorable ruling itself, I would give it a 70% chance of success based on my limited knowledge of the matter and applicable law. Thanks for your good wishes and same to you in all your trades.
Zacks says estimates are rising, but has anyone here found any news ? Damn, this message board is hard enough to find. Hope we longs who stayed will be rewarded. Stranger things have happened. GLTAL
no shorting here...new commish has nothing to do with it....Ct will rule in a matter of weeks and the ruling will be favorable imo...
i think you nailed it....one of the key reasons for AMRN's victory in Court
The only thing that kept AMRN from a 5 spot was the rollover of the biotech sector. Can you name another smallcap biotech stock under $5, with products, that has as many pending significant events with potential to cause large price movement. Do you own that stock ? That being said, the biotech sell off will likely continue, pressuring AMRN. In the long run, this should be just a road bump. If news is positive going forward, I believe the stock will be looking backward at $5 before the summer. It's great to see so many new buyers on this board. Here's to a great couple of quarters ahead. GLTAL
yes...2.60 is the the next resistance area and today was a good day...looking at the market as a whole, biotechs were beaten down badly this weak due to Kramer, overheated sector and such. AMRN began the week closing at 2.45 and ended at 2.41 for a loss of just over 1%. Many biotechs lost 10-15% and AMRN had just previously doubled, making it no less vulnerable than any of the crushed high flyers. The next few weeks and months will likely confirm or cancel the positive recent outlook for AMRN. Clearly, longs have good reason to hope after this week and the past month. GLTA and enjoy the weekend.
