I received my proxy for voting for the sale to WEC. Based on today prices for both TEG and WEC it is going to be basically a wash for me. getting 1.128 shares of WEC for each TEG and $18.58 additional puts me even monetarily if I would just sell my TEG today. Any thoughts on voting yes or no? There is a very small premium I guess, but seems inconsequential to me.
Thanks for the normal post, I have lots of people on "Block" on this board, it really clears up the clutter and you don't even see anything posted by Donke
I'm wondering what everyone thinks about the CVS and Walgreens contracts that are both up for renewal this year. Both currently use Cardinal Health. I think most everyone thinks both will stay with Cardinal, but if one or more would make the switch to ABC, what do you think that would do for earning and upside movement? It seems like to me there is no downside for ABC, don't have the contracts now, so if they stay with Cardinal then no harm to ABC, but lots of upside if ABC could get the business?
I notice you are pretty happy posting how much money you have made investing in Terex. Why don't you stick to their board and stop trying to influence inexperienced people about OSK when you are just an investor in Terex with no real knowledge.
I voted with company also, but did anyone else get like 3 or more company white voting cards in mail?? They just keep coming to me, I don't know why? I only got one Yellow from Icahn
This pig just sucked up 125 million more in gov. orders...

I did NOT sell, and am also making almost 4% with just the dividend payment this year. You didn't need to sell to earn 4% on your investment.
I just opened two of the short bashers postings and hit IGNORE USER and amazingly my SYY board lost about 20 postings! Much cleaner now that clutter is gone, might actually get some true info.
Any poster that has more than one or two new topics in one day totally bashing a stock IMMEDIATELY gets the IGNORE.

Yes you are correct, cuts in weapons systems. Not in OSK trucks according to Defense Dept. Even touchy feely anti-war lefties love the MRAPS to protect troops...
"The budget adds about $1.4 billion to buy more Boeing Co. Army AH-64 Apache helicopters, drones from other companies and more Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles made by Oshkosh Corp."
Actually I am still long because I know the commercial business (lift units, cement mixers, etc.) will take off along with the general economy and building uptick. I also am hopefull the harsh winter will get the wheels in motion for airport snow removal equip. upgrades, and OSK is world known for having top of the line snow equipment.
I am surprised nobody is discussing the military contract award of over 100 million $ announced yesterday and the Defense Dept. statements that although overall defense spending will decrease, OSK trucks is one area that will increase!! Good news for long OSK.
Too bad, another 45 million in gov. contracts announced today for the longs.
