BKF has it out for ENG! He would love it if we all went broke. Nice guy! Why would anyone want a company to go out of business and have bad outcome for the employees and their families? Not sure but think a past employee? Best to you, I am also in a hold mode.
I do to, sad! I lost major! Learning lesson, was up like $35,000 and now if BK will not get that and loose $30,000. Over the years lost and gained, so far about equal. Lucky to have a retirement with insurance and a Roth. Sad here, very bad management. I also hold FRO, the largest crude shipper and they too could go south. Go figure, nothing for certain except death. Best to all!
Why the disconnect between NAV and share price? At this point I am in this for the long hall in distributions. I have lost so much share price that I have just kinda given up on that.
Hopefully I live till I am 85 so I can at least get my initial money back. Best to you!
Just had to add a post as I was tired of seeing "Could this be it?" at the top of the list. I am still just sitting tight and hoping they will survive, if not, my money. Best to all!
If you have cash, just be patient. Cash is cash and not a bad thing. This market is controlled by the press and traders who make money off the press and their clients money, not good but real. If we go down another 7% DOW then I will add shares of "funds" that pay at least 5% distributions. Watch out for funds that have capital return if you invest long. It is a SFL board and I do hold shares and have since the 80's, been good to me and I will buy at about $16.00 if it gets there? Best to you!
The delisting should not have been a suprise it has been talked about and nothing changed to stop it. Guess some did not see it coming for whatever reason and they jumped ship.
I have a 2000 shares, not a big thing. Have followed the board and see "news" that seems good but the share price at .055. Why not more, any ideas. I keep thinking of getting about 10,000 more shares.
Only $14.00 per share to go then I get back to my initial share price. At this rate it will take 18 yrs of div to break even. I know, my fault for not selling way back! Me Bad!
Anyone have thoughts about this fund. I sold some stocks to have cash for future investments if and when the market corrects. Do they pay a year end distribution?
Where do you get this #$%$! When I see comments like yours I get real concerned about going out of the house! People like you are out there!
