Last time they raised prices, if you remember, they went from $72 down to $34 or so and everyone bailed. Said they will go bankrupt! After that it went way sky hi. I think it is a buying time. Just my thought.
Bear market fear, about to stay the same but I would buy here. If you can look 2 years out, getting the div and share price perhaps about the same? Still good money. Long term, share price up!
Press has way too much power and not much thought. In any respect the "press" is putting the Fed in a mode to do a .25 % rate hike. Press says the Fed has a credability issue for not raising rates. Is a rate increase good or not, ask the Press, get 200 different answers. Press pushing buttons to keep stories going. My thought, .25% or perhaps .33%. If they do a rate increase it will be done and not changed even if the market does not like it. Be careful what you ask for. Press and all the experts are looking for a story, perhaps at our expense. With CIM, I plan to hold long reardless of the Feds or Press.
You must be old school, still using the old share pricing. $.48 on the way and share price should go up once this "bear" market fear goes away. Best to you but I would hold here.
I have watched this for a year now and got my first shares today, $14.05. It was $15.00 last year and paid like $1.48 at the end of the year. The share price looked good for me based on the general market downturn and the thought that the Dec. distribution will be good? Any thought appreciated.
It is all the press! and fear, where were you when we had 15% rates? and the world functioned. It did get us into problems but .25% is nothing.
The press has made the Fed thing like Pro Westling, a big show. Get over this and move on. I am very sick of all the hype to get TV and article time. The world is about to end if we get a .25 increase, NOT, bad news sells and the press will make it bad. Best to all however you use "your" money. Turn off the TV and go on vacation.
Already of close to 40% from a year ago. If it cannot take a .25% rate increase then a piece of #$%$. My thought is that those selling are short term players and they have panic in mind. I paln to stay long. Tell me why .25% is so dreadful long term?
Hopefully some of the feared rate increase is already built into the share price. I still think this rate thing is over done and more fear than reality on the income result of the company.
