Shorts here look awfully stupid now.
Can they appear more stupid than now?
Possible, but awfully difficult to top their current state.
(Both 50-DMA and 200-DMA are trending higher now and AMZN is solidly above them. According to shorts here, AMZN being under these moving averages is a good sign that she will keep falling. If so, why don't they say AMZN being above them is a good sing that she will keep rising?)
Size of the company?
NFLX is like a mosquito and AMZN is like an elephant.
AMZN requires a significantly more force to move her because of her size.
The general market is shaky now.
Never say "Never."
By refusing to buy before seeing $387 and change has cost me a decent profit I could have had.
Like our beloved village clown, Jagdeep_m2000, who shorted AMZN at 120 in November, 2011 and declared that he would never cover, those who remain fixated with what they want to see lose.
I was too optimistic.
Hahaha . . .
Good thing that I didn't mess with puts earlier. I thought of buying puts and hold until near the close tomorrow before buying calls at LOWs.
Yeah, you shouldn't try to be cute with this magnificent stock, you know.
Damn, she has rallied since I left!
I thought shorts here will take a break from buying her today.
Why do they like to buy her here?
She may meander here, so I'll have my breakfast.
Keep sagging towards tomorrow's close.
Longs who bought early, determined to hold them until after the earnings will give up tomorrow before the close.
Then she'll jump 20 points AH.
. . . she won't test $400.01 today.
"How long will this farce last"
Until the current crop of shorts here give up and fold.
It's a slow process.
It's been going on since AMZN's IPO.
They have to do something.
Nobody is biting.
They have only two more days.
Don't worry, shorts.
They will be in the red by 9:30 a.m. ET.
