Austin thank you for all your hard work. Will your write up an article that expands on your comments?
Your plan would never work. 1st people can simply make ammo via reloading, 2nd they can transfer ammo. 3rd even if you do your terrible plan it wont stop crazies. The easy solution is just for people (esp. teachers) to pack guns. Typically .40 cal stops crazies.
Google it. typically stock holders are paid last and that almost never happens. Go study K-Mart and how they went BK and voided the old stock only to re-emerge and issue new stock.
Your forgeting that the competition (samsung, micron) make NAND and OCZ buys NAND from them at a higher price. While Vector is nice its really a late product and only brings OCZ back to par. Also OCZ has started offering rebates on it. All that wonderful inventory is being sold at a discount fyi. Just go listen to the last few conference calls.
SOME of the inventory is already recored as sold and the revenue was accounted for in prior quarters. It was just sitting in the channel. The company moved it out of the channel via discounts so this will come in as an additional expense while providing no revenue. Key word here.. some.
Per the CEO's statements "A **big** portion of inventory moved through channel at 'better pricing.' It was previously generated revenue due to a sell-through model."
The other inventory sold at discount will come in as revenue though.
They are in for a hard time. Sure they make controllers and this does give them an advantage over the pure assemblers but until they can score a NAND deal (unlikely) then they will always be at a disadvantage compared to the NAND mfgrs.
I cant wait to see some clarity as well. Its going to be fun.
Nothing to discuss. Nothing has changed. Vector is out after being delayed..which only brings OCZ back into the game but does not change the game. Bad numbers are on the way for Q2, Q3, write downs, accounting issues, SEC investigation. This is just the sheep being herded to the slaughter.. one final pump before the kill.
Bad news is anything but factored in since 99.99999% of you have no clue as to what the numbers will look like. Sheeple to the slaughter.
You do realize that the company is supposed to report on the 30th..... and they are about to miss it.
I'd like to see more reviews from sources that are a bit further from the company. So far the drive looks nice but really a good price to performance comparison has to be done. yea.. I might just do it.
after paying the new ceo 700k just for signing on they had about 42 million. The new guy has already said they will need a cash infusion.
Anyone can write for SA. The question, however is it worth your time? I've had articles do well and I had one that I spent 1 week writing and it was a masterpiece of analysis and it only generated 25 bucks b/c it was an obscure stock.
depends on how you deliver it. Why not send it via ship, I'm sure you could disguise it somehow given money and time.
