If they didn't do it then, the PPS might be 6+ right now. Assuming earnings are on track we could be looking at a continued uptrend from there
Yes I agree. I'm really hoping to see better than just one million, but some guidance on number of contracts is crucial. If they nailed millions in contracts, but just can't book the revenue yet, hopefully the market will see it as a success. If they keep playing things close to the vest I predict disaster
10B for a niche product, this has bubble written all over it. If it hits your targets smart money will short hand over fist
Understand your point but I do not want $1 ONVO. That's a huge loss to carry, and if they fall that low they won't be able to raise cash for continuing operations. Plus, they are not a drug company, so they can't hang success on a single trial result. If they fall that low it's over
Look at market cap, not share price. 274 Million is not a small valuation for a company that has made no money. The market is actually still showing a lot of faith in this company, despite the drop. They've projected around ten million or so in revenue, and they have not even proposed the idea of a profit on that revenue. 5 x revenue would be around 50 million. The value they are getting right now, although falling, is still reflecting the hope and dream of something great in the future.
yes, you're dead on. some people see hires as evidence of growth, but it's only evidence of increased expense. if we see the growth to go with it, great, but they have projected tepid numbers for the first few quarters so this will add to the cash burn. with the stock so beat up already, my biggest hope right now is that bad news is already priced in and even a mediocre qtrly report will give a bounce. that's just a trading thesis, though. it's not an investment strategy. let's hope is a good story and not just management on an shopping spree.
A few months ago they were about to start production with Kodak, now they're writing off 100% of the equipment as worthless. They shouldn't even be getting paid at all, they should be in jail
If they are focused on the L'Oreal skin thing and sidelining liver and kidney, AND not telling anyone the terms, this is a worst case scenario and stock will definitely go below a dollar. We better pray that's not the case.
It's management on a shopping spree. New hires are expenses, and they're years from being profitable. Maybe they hit it out of the park on Monday and I change my tune. Maybe. But this isn't sports, I don't have to be loyal to a team here. Much as I like company, it's a huge hole to dig out of. Personally I'm just glad my shares were not much above the current price. Not looking to hold a loss for 5 years.
There's a limit to how above it all you can be. Someone mentioned TSLA in another thread. Perfect example of a CEO who knows how to work the market
