  • Good ole boy John, milked the stock for years so that the Board of Directors could keep issuing stock so that the board & management could periodically sell. Hence no dividend. John kept thinking up ways of milking the sellers such as, charging sellers for shipping fees which were passed on to buyers. Good ole boy John, wanted to make EBay more like Amazon.....in the process many good quality sellers left because of all the hoops that sellers had to jump through. He brought retail China goods into the front pages of search and pushed out all the unique items sellers off of the front pages. WAY TO GO JOHN! With the sale of PayPal it was time for John to go, he had milked EBay for all it was worth. Now, the new CEO is trying to take EBay back to what made eBay great in the first place, and by his own admission....Not like Amazon!

The new CEO will have his hands full. Many good sellers have left. Their are many sites now to sell on....EBay has lost market share. EBay is a expensive marketplace.
