The manipulation and corruption in these markets are phenomenal. The 84 billion every month is the market, especially rigged and highly unethical investment component’s like TVIX.
Actually I think the figure is actually higher. There is a large percentage of US citizens that do not participate in the stock market. Some older folks on a fixed income may only have an 100K extra on the side and $4000 -vs- $1000 a year can cause people to slip into the poverty range.
I read an article that showed that going from 4% to 1% interest rates at banks are responsible for 24.6 million people moving to the poverty income level.
Its been acting strange for 3 days now. Is it a trap?...or is the market going to turn south?
I agree this is a lottery ticket, yet its been flat to up the last 3 days in pretty high volume, while the VIX continues south. I find that strange, and it may be a long trap. Something different is happening, just not sure what it is.
I bet volume slows a bit while more analysts and investors research more and evaluate all aspects of this venture. To me its a mix between Taco Bell and Taco Cabana. Both are tasty, but nothing to right home about. Several Pollo Loco stores have closed, but it could have been due to upgrade issues, location, or cash flow issues when they were still private. I did check out how people rated the restaurants in other cities and it fell in the average range 2-3 stars, some were 4 stars. Now that they have plenty of cash to upgrade and start new restaurants, and maybe tweak some of their menu items its a wait and see how that and earnings comes out. To say its going to $15, before they even have an earnings report is ridicules. I have heard, but its not official that they are doing fairly well even with the issues mentioned above. I think momentum is showing it will test $28, and if it holds we bounce around until earnings. If earning are not good, taking new operations into consideration it could drop to the mid to lower 20's.
This is not RIM, but HOUSTON...we have a problem, but a fixable one. They wouldn't have given the 150 million DIV out, unless they had a plan...Like AAPL, they will have to have a presentation for "Ultimate Candy Crunch". Its 2 pieces a hammer and real candy...Nothing like it!!! Its awesome!!!
