I think a lot of companies do deals with f-funds. Hedge Funds mop up on short side and company gets to buy at the lower price. They will buy some shares on the way down to make it look good, but its pretty obvious to be able to take on a mega-company like AAPL with $194,000,000,000 billion in cash and a large buy back program with a small dividend, you have to know what they are going to do...right?
Would you buy here? Certainly not, and (I believe) Apple knew that on the day of earnings. I believe Hedge Fund/Funds (sold sold sold) before earnings, but incrementally set up positions for Apple 10%-20% drop. I believe AAPL and H-funds calculate there exit strategy where both benefit. Hedge Funds get there 10%-20% going down and AAPL benefits buying around there 200DMA. Folks its may opinion, but I see this same activity all through this market, Apple just stands out as the poster child for this type of manipulation.
DIV is too small...that's why they bring it down. Everyone buys pre-earnings and the big boys short it 10%-20% Short positions are showing less then 2%, but that maybe enough since stock did not hold its 50DMA. The question is: Is this a bigger conspiracy then a 2% short move? Company talks about large buy backs, yet it appears they are in on it. No hedge fund would take on Apple with only a 2% short position...would they? Why doesn't Apple buy here?...I think its because they know without any intervention that it will probably bottom closer to the 200DMA...Its hard to find a stock that's not being manipulated in some respect!!!
Dude... I was referencing to the entire market barely keeping its head above water from a crash. Because of that volatility index should be much higher. Five cents is not a move, its a joke!!!
What a trash heap!!! Its only legal if you believe. I cannot believe the SEC lets these guys sell this #$%$!!! Like today this market is struggling to keep its head above water, yet this trash index called the VIX is barely 14.
Market is on life support. Market has some enormous problems. If we can't sell fertilizer trading at market average, then where are the rest of the food commodities going?
They can sit there and downgrade a company making billions and #$%$ like CTYX is showing a strong buy. Is a strong buy a stock the goes from $1.44 to .77 cents in one month. This market is corrupt as it can be and most of the analysts I see are just paid monkeys that should be in prison!!!
It goes to show you that the big boys can manipulate any stock at anytime...for any "Amount" of time....YET they know there limits with all stocks, especially AAPL. Since 2008, manipulation is the pill we must swallow. Following there path takes a lot of charting, and even more "Luck"!!!
