This is young ignorance. You can't get around it. These are the same people that will take over for us soon...Scary Huh!!!You can always tell their age by what they say. Things like writing in CAPS, cursing, phrases that make no sense, do not respect others. Terms like bashing, and LOL...

If it does not hold there, it could be bad???

  • IAG takes the top spot for a POS. The American people are being robbed and manipulated in virtually all PM stocks and funds along with VIX Inverse funds. SEC is not doing enough about fraud in this market. You can bet that any stock under 5 bucks isn't even looked at.

There are a lot of problems, but that's not one of them. Manipulation, hedging, auditing, hidden debt, and bogus accounting. Basically the mining business is full of fraudulent activity. The miners hold reserves, but never buy back stock with it. Even the worst miners make $400-$600 per ounce. Big money manipulates rally's to make money, not to advance shareholder value. They could care less what the share price is. PM's will not take off until they want it to.

    Dollar Zombie Paradise

Isn't it amazing the amount of fraud and manipulation in this market. CPI, PPI, and VIX are three of the most bogus and manipulated index's. How they can release the figures without laughing out loud. QE's 85 billion a month keeps the stock market rolling while throwing a blanket over what should be sky rocketing precious metal prices. And last of all the dollar is just one molecule away from turning into a nickle. Maybe a quarter if they are nice to us during the reset.

  • Those last 10 minutes and after hours are a see-saw. Back to 44 or will it stabilize?

I wonder why traders did not take it down more today. Did they find something to worry about??...Nahhh!!!

  • ggray1956 ggray1956 May 28, 2014 4:49 PM Flag

Old news buddy, but if you are going to call a pull back after it starts at least you can give a price. Look at yesterday and earlier today posts. It shows it may test $44 again and that it would break $50 today...BINGO!!!

  • ggray1956 by ggray1956 May 29, 2014 8:49 AM Flag

Economic news this morning was pretty much all bad and still nothing. Big money does not care anymore. TVIX will most likely continue slide even with a 52 week low in the VIX earlier this week. The last 3 out of 4 trading sessions the VIX was up, yet TVIX was still trading down. If you are in PM stocks, or inverse funds you could lose a lot of money. Even days when they should recover they are not. Its hard to even trade TVIX anymore, because you need a bounce to make any money and TVIX has consistently gone down even with the VIX at its lows for the year. Good Luck...

  • Gold and Silver have been trading in the same range for 2 years, yet the share prices on the miners continue to go down. The only reason why Gold goes over $1300 is so its can create a new low when it drops below it. Gold and Silver are basically flat, yet miners have lost 40% - 90% of their value. If you look at the last 5 times we were at these levels the stock prices were much higher. There is no reason why we continue to create new lows when PM's have been in a $1250-$1325 trading range for a couple of years now. The only way to fight this is the Miners need to create short squeezes by buying shares with there reserve base. As far as I can tell they have not done that. AUY may do it near five, because of the 5 dollar rule for a lot of IM buying.

Where would VRNG be if Google won the appeals?... Is VRNG a 1 trick pony or does this ZTE issue have legs? How many other clients do they have outstanding?

  • VIX goes up and TVIX goes down. All day long CNBC has negative economic reports, Ukraine Helicopter shot down killing a 14 people and a General. The dude that accused the market was rigged has more evidence that market trading is rigged, and TVIX still loses ground. If you ever wanted to know that TVIX was fixed, you should by the end of the trading day today. These people do not even try to hide their crimes. Are we in an alternate universe here!!! Unfriken-believable!!!

They could be picking up nuggets all over the mine and this sucker will still continue south with all the other miners. Purely manipulated market with horrible auditing and all these 2 bit miners are in on it. Tell me why a miner with growing operations with Gold and Silver in a tight trading range for over 3 years can continue to go south. Miners are not buying shares on a regular basis with the growing reserves they have. They should be selling some of there reserves at the top of the range around $1325 and buying shares near the bottom around $1250. If any of the miners did this they would never have to worry about revenue and cash flow...BUT THEY DON'T!!! I believe one of the reasons are terrible accounting practices without auditing and the anticipation that Gold and Silver are going up substantially soon. It makes no sense to sit on Gold and Silver when the chart shows the same pattern for over 3 years.

I believe something is up and a short term gain may be on the horizon for TVIX longs. We have been near the 52 week low on the VIX and a lot of money is on the sidelines not sure where to park. I have seen this more with Inverse ETN's and plain index ETF's. You can also tell from the abnormal shift down lately on weaker then normal volume. TVIX has to be rolled over and the gap for this contract cycle is still over a buck. Normally that would be extremely bearish for TVIX longs...BUT the gap could be filled fairly quickly on a large volume day. Look we are dealing with a exchange traded note under 5 bucks and no one would expect this type of movement. Its just a feeling, no long term chart to back it up. Its been almost impossible to chart TVIX successfully long...Its been really easy short, but I think somethings up for 1st week in June. We will know more Monday with a look at the options. Good Luck everyone!!!

***Note also: We still have not had a REAL correction in the DOW, S&P 500, NASDAQ or RUSSELL 2000. This also is piece of this possible puzzle. Long term futures still show up quite a bit. If this changes even a little makes this move even more of a possibility.

  • Very important hedge for a very overbought and expensive Russell 2000. Any ease in QE or interest rate elevation would make this ETF a MUST!!!
