Disney does not have a historic average PE of 25. That is absurd. Even the last 5 years it is only 18. There is nothing special about this debt bloated company which warrants such an obscene PE valuation, let alone a PS ration well over 3. I challenge any of the feel good boys residing here to post a link to this outrageous claim.
I do agree with the observation that we don't know how long the party will continue, but to believe this will be some sort of safe haven which will be immune from a much needed correction is foolish and naïve.
Correct. It was overvalued at 50, it is obscenely overvalued here. 22 times earnings, more than 3 times revenues. Debt out the gazoomba.
This is like a good party. The smart people start leaving before the cops arrive.
This board is hilarious. Value isn't any part of the equation with many of the people buying and holding this stock. Thus, stocks like Disney can trade at an outrageous premium in a bull market.
But always remember, valuation is only irrelevant until it becomes relevant. Then the ugliness follows.
I guess valuation will be irrelevant. Until it becomes relevant. And then my bubbly friends, this will be in for one ugly haircut.
