kidshelleen51, you seem to be missing the big picture here. LNCO is ONLY a pass through security. It has NO EARNINGS. One unit of LNCO consists SOLELY of 1 unit of LINE. Therefore, all the arguments of earnings, revenues, etc. are complete hogwash. They cannot possibly apply to LNCO, which makes the original post a completely irrelevant fabrication.
Great post, Penny. What I meant to say was that when HYGS went to $35, I was kicking myself for not having bought more originally at $23. I TOTALLY agree about the "Story" stocks. I lost a bunch on MCP & NES, 2 GREAT story stocks that are in the toilet. HYGS seems to be positioned much better, especially if they reach 4th quarter targets. Due tthe nature of this industry, I believe low 30's are a real possibility for first quarter assuming we don't get hit too hard with tax loss selling. I LOVE the tiny float! GLTA
Thanks, ledlights1. I feel exactly the same way and it's nice to see at least SOMEONE agrees. My guess is that most of those objecting weren't holding this when Seeking Alpha articles helped bring it down from the low $40's to the low $20's based on an innocuous SEC inquiry that amounted to nothing. That, plus the fact that if you feel the distribution is in jeopardy, perhaps you SHOULDN'T be owning this investment. On the other hand, tact has never been one of my strengths, so I hold no grudges.
I have a feeling that the current prices will be considered way cheap in a couple of months. I first bought in at $23+ in January, then kicked myself for not buying waay more when it went to $35+. I personally view this as a rare second chance.
LNCO has no revenue, earnings, net income or anything of the sort. 1 unit of LNCO consists of 1 unit of LINE...........PERIOD!
Many here seem to forget that Seeking Alpha articles had a great deal to do with putting Linn Energy into the mess it's in.
What did you do with your days while the other kids were in school learning math, Newbie? You've only been on this board for a couple of days (under this avatar) and you've already exposed your ignorance to the entire board.
If you could read, you would see that the low for the day was $1.12 (so far), which is down 13 cents, GENIUS.
If you need an article from Seeking Alpha to tell you the dividend (distribution) is secure through 2015, maybe you don't belong in this stock.
