I think that you both are right somehow. The fact that RFMD has made huge steps forward is a fact. It's also true that at the moment the difference is made by execution. SKWS is performing and earning, if they have issues is more on the internal side, ownership and strategy seemed to be the main concern for the market regarding them.
I haven't seen the figures about the RFMD debt, it's quite easy to say, if they can't make it to increase the margin, they will have to buyback a relevant number of shares in order to make EPS more reasonable.
I think that RFMD has still room to go so, on the long term and thinking about doubling the investment is my choice.
hooutoo made a good point. if you read the PR, they say, started high volume production etc. DO you think that load the warehouse?? I think nobody can do it in the chip sector lately. so I'm thinking that somewhere, in China or somewhere else they are selling the things they are producing. otherwise it would be crazy. I have to say that I'm still positive. they have guided this Q during the last Q presentation and they didn't warn, this means they will be in the range. hopefully mid to high.. I fell better than other Qs.
which gives at a conservative 15X = a 9 $ ops. 0,53 cents eps would give an 8 bucks ops. I think the next leg will be quite fast seen where we are.
Sorry, I thought you were targeting EPS for the Q.
I agree with you, despite the past, RFMD is on the right path now. The real value as of now, before the Q CC. is around 6 and 6,50. Probably after the cc it will be north of it. A lot of good news coming out.
Well Monrio, they stated last q RFMD would have made 305/310 MM and 10/11 cents EPS. My understanding is that they wont get to 20 cents unless they have completely changed the mix of product they sell.
It would be already good being in the 15cents area which is achievable to me. I don't see at the moment any realistic possibility for them to get there in this Q. I would be very happy to be proven wrong.
I have a question since long time about RFMD. I have followed this stock since long long time. Apart once a couple of years ago it never rallied not even after tens of upgrades. I see clearly the as the ask rises the bid lowers and sells big time to keep the price down. I have understood now that there is a precise will to this purpose and I would like to understand who might have interest in keeping the price down under control.
thank you in advance for your explanations.
