Total agree with you that AF is a criminal...I would laugh my butt off if the SEC was secretly investigating this tyrant. I've been around for about 16 years in the bio field and have seen so many incorrect articles from that guy...thank goodness for him they do not keep a track record of what comes to fruition from his bashing posts. Most of his posts end up being a scare tactic to persuade shareholders to sell and then the stock rebounds to new highs. The list is too long to list on all his screwups. I believe they are Intentional to steal money from the hard working class people who invest in small cap bios that dont' have the time to dig really deep and develop a confidence strong enough to deter the bashing articles from AF, it is a shame.
AF is a great spinner and would fit right in with Obamas groupies of spin masters.
As Scalp says: "He's a POS working for Hedgies" he is the little puppet boy who does the dirty work of deceiving investors using bashing scare tactics to create Fear.
One bad apple that Biotech could do Well withOUT.

CYCC message board people like to bash CYTR

    by jk4763 Jul 21, 2014 8:03 AM

I was in CYCC a few times myself and know that the CEO is nothing but a promise maker and now it appears he says nothing and keeps shareholders in the dark.
I think it is CYCC that is the more speculative company. I believe that Aldoxorubicin is safe and effective and now it is just a matter of formalities to go through until approval...hopefully Kriegsman won't forget to dot and i or cross a t in the application...that's my biggest worry.
I can't recall CYCC's drug right now from memory but I have heard through the grapevine that there is a valid reason as to why the stock is below $5 and the volume is non-existent. If the rumors were "good" rumors it should be around $8 to $9 a share...I guess time will tell on CYCC.
I reiterate that CYCC is the Speculative stock filled with uncertainties and CYTR is much safer to invest in.
    That is my humble opinion.
Now if Sac (whatever the name is) works CYCC would truly be very undervalued. The problem is Efficacy.
Right now CYTR is the one that is truly undervalued when you think of the revenues this is going to have and all the possible uses and the possibility of using it off label as a replacement for doxorubicin or doxil.
CYTR's results were truly stellar results and this is a bargain for anyone that knows anything about doxorubicin.

    Question to the "BUYOUT" heads

    Agreed.
Just could be a Discretionary Clause, but I would imagine that all deals would have to be negotiated once again.
We are probably counting chicks well before they are hatched, but makes some interesting speculation.

    gizmo_puppy95 gizmo_puppy95 Jul 21, 2014 2:13 PM Flag

Usually in small writing somewhere there is a buyout clause that states all contracts are void if bought out. If not, then they would still be active. That is a very good question to ask as I wondered this myself and haven't found the answer.
I would love to know the answer to this also. This could have some implications if a company such as Roche were to think about making an offer because all of this has to be included in the offer.

Not sure about 100,000 per 1,000 but I can see 10,000 if you hold for c diff prevention and a quality partnership with Tr.
Then you have ground breaking studies to come on IBS which could equate to unexpected discoveries for both Diabetes and Obesity.
Then you have the XON platform of technology that they are attempting to find the next big thing.
Yes, this may go back to the mid 40's but the point is that it is going higher towards EOY, IMHO.

I don't believe it really matters 1.70 or 1.30 if you are holding for the long term...if you day trade it may matter.
This will eventually fight its way back up. Yes, there will be ups and downs during the fight.

  • All of a sudden the volume went up, is this one person, a retailer an institution that finally found ARGS?

I wouldn't get excessively congratulatory as we don't know the true results yet. If they are very good, in which they will blow the competition away then I believe eventually Roche will make an offer for Exelixis for around $1.2 Billion at least...or things could go South if the prostate trial is no good.

I've had core shares in this since it's been at .23 cents and still own over 20% of those shares. Yes I trade around this at times when it's moving. Have to take profits sometimes and use them elsewhere, then come back to this when wave begins to rise, doesn't make a bit of sense to hold when you can find others moving. This is not a day trading stock right now because of no volume. We need volume in the millions to make good money day trading with big number shares.
You sound like a whining little #$%$ little Pinkie who actually listens to message boards for information to trade on.

It's not on Nasdaq it's on OTC, so you go there and look. There are Several Places to look for short interest on otc stocks. Of course Nasdaq will say "No Short Interest".

JY's mouth and vag must be excessively stretched. Was this really her business to inform everyone that the small cap bios are "over valued"?

July 28th, total volume shorted was 28%. Today there were over 48,000 shares shorted.
Plus you have Naked Shorted that we don't know about.
Yesterday over half of the volume was short.
Not sure why you say CTIX is not shorted.

    Hello my friend.
Hey it's holding up and we all know that there could be several data releases. Since the price hasn't fell greatly it could persuade the shorts to run for cover.
With good news on P and B I see the 52 week high being challenged. I am finished trying to time this.
Oh What the heck...Yeah next week....honestly I don't know when the bidding will increase with volume.
I used to be able to day trade this with great success by piggy backing the high volume days...not so easy any more.
My portfolio is way down from April. I took a whipping from holding SYN when the chart was saying "Over Valued" and I didn't listen to that, but instead went with my emotions and held. If I could end the year with the balance I had in April I would be ecstatic.
I know I would be much happier and positive on these boards if I could make this back and that would definitely prove I am good trader if I could get all that back by years end.
I haven't been easy to be around for the past couple of months. I need a quick double!
I know one thing: I am actually a much better trader now for going through that disaster in April.
Lee: If news is good for both and we get a surprise for Kevetrin, I believe you will have a MERRY Christmas.

CYTR didn't have plans for GBM until recently. Hey if prelim data is good this should really fly because this would be unexpected great news with a very large market opportunity.
The STS data was very sound and IMO it should be approved, but we do need more data on OS.
NSCLC -- they need to get on this pronto, as this one has a great chance also.
This stock crashed because of a so called "whistleblower" Richard #$%$" Pearson. He saw an opportunity to make a fortune and acted like he was a hero when in fact he was a dunce and is crookeder than Kriegsman himself, he saw an opportunity to STEAL money from shareholders and that is what he did. He contacted his butt buddy Adam Feuerstein and they collaborated to write articles to destroy the share price. They both probably would never have to work again after they robbed CYTR shareholders.
This stock should double from here and I'm being honest. Although these small biotechs are based on psychological projections prior to any earnings they trade very differently with a lot of volatility, but I believe CYTR deserves a market value that is at least twice as large as this considering the COH and their prospects.
I am not banking on the GBM trial...if it works, then Awesome, if it doesn't....it will probably have a temporary effect on the stock price, but it would just be a major buying opportunity because in 2015 the fun really begins for this company with new drugs from their patented platform and much more trial data. If it is anything like it was for STS PFS then this could have a run towards mid 20'. With more positive news, a market cap of $2 Billion wouldn't be surprising, which would place this close to $30.
We are still in the early stages of learning just how effective Aldox can really be...in fact they really haven't even found a Max Tol Dose as the toxicity has been much less than ever expected which could also be a value driver.

    Oh Yeah
When you see this...This IS PURE Manipulation. You just described it when they dropped the ask. I have traded stocks in which the bid was More than the Ask, then quickly the bid changes to a significant lower bid and they will always drop the ask bigtime when they are stealing shares.
They are trying to shake this tree pretty hard.

This sucker is gonna fly soon. I wish I had some dry powder to throw at this.
With any positive news, the volume will come in flocks to drive this WAY UP!
Personally the HIV eradication in pediatric and adults makes me salivate. Whoever shorts this one has some big balls or are in on some insider news.
