OI offered a relatively small (around $25K) death benefit to salary retirees. In their infinite wisdom the big brains at OI HQ must have decided this was how to save the company. Kind of like picking the fly #$%$ out of the pig pen. I wonder if Stroucken's $2.8 million salary plus his perks and benefits will also to be cut?
