ROYT Stock and Chumash Santa Barbara Casino

This is the stock market. ROYT is a small cap which drills for oil in a hundred year old oil field. This is a stock that maybe rates 20,000 shares traded in a day. Nothing fancy here like some high flyer biotech or Facebook or who knows? And now it is trading a million plus shares a day! This in no short words is a CASINO! Might as well put your money on a black or red at this point at the roulette wheel because there is little rational thinking going on here.........

  • Come one! Come all! Place your bets! Forget about the blackjack tables! You can buy ROYT stock on the Wall Street casino and win big! Half a million shares traded in 20 minutes on a stock nobody ever heard of outside of Santa Barbara with absolutely no news out there that has not been known for over a month. Hey you over there! Forget the poker tables.........Yeah over here! Place your bets! Spin the wheel! And when you are done with your wager, you can go out the door and see those lovely oil rigs pumping oil........Craps, who needs that? Lucky 7? Hey, we are talking Brent crude here. Grab a handful. And we'll throw in a few gallons of gas from the local Phillips 66 station down the street..........Roll dem dice!

    Straight from the Ballot Initiative

Remember until these wells turn profitable, ROYT only gets a 7.5% royalty interest from the NEW wells...When they do, ROYT only gets a 25% share of the profits.......And that 25% could be years away EVEN IF the wells were allowed to be developed........At most, we are talking $4M/qtr down the road by a few years......

    Straight from the Ballot Initiative

Facts are facts! I read the darn ballot initiative. I also live around 40 miles south of Santa Barbara......The language of the ballot initiative is poor! It spends a good 25 pages pages rambling about this and that.........Changing the Santa Barbara municipal code etc.......THEN on page 26, it says EXISTING facilities are not covered by the Initiative.........Anyone with half a legal mind would have put this on page 1! Just shows me how haphazard the initiative was written. AND last but not least, there are all sorts of statements in the Initiative which are NOT supported by any facts or research. If you want to ban fracking, be my guest but don't invent stuff to back it up.........

  • From Section 5(C) of the Ballot Initiative
    Page 26

    C. The provisions of this Initiative shall not be applicable to any person or entity that
has obtained, as of the Effective Date of this Initiative, a vested right, pursuant to
State law, to conduct a High-Intensity Petroleum Operation.

You can GOOGLE "Santa Barbara County Water Guardians", go to the home page and read the initiative
full text from a link on top..........

I don't get it!! Here it is in BLACK AND WHITE! I don't know what that guy
who posted the SeekingAlpha article was talking about....This is NOT a lottery
ticket on whether the initiative passes or it does not......ROYT's ops are not
affected by this initiative one way or the other........

    I am buying more here.....

Like the little FIRST GRADER who keeps arguing with his teacher, Herbalife,
who keeps taking him to school...........Billy keeps screaming, "I know I'm right!!!"
    "You'll see".........He pounds his desk.........He screams and shouts.....His short
fund just keeps losing more and more and more money.......Every dividend that
gets declared, little Billy writes out another big check......Till Billy screams,
"This time, I KNOW I'm right........." Once again, the teacher will send Billy to
the principal's office where once again, Big Mouth Little Billy will write out another
big check........QUESTION IS: WHEN DO WE GROW TIRED OF BILLY AND
SIMPLY LET HIM CRY AND SHOUT IN THE CORNER? Cry all you want little
Billy.........We are NOT listening anymore......You are the Sarah Palin of Wall Street......
No one cares if you pout and cry anymore.........Spend your time chasing after
    some grossly overvalued pharma stock..........

  • Cannot help but think someone was doing a BIG DUMP on MON of a good qty of shares......Sounds like ole Mortimer and Randolph were screaming SELL SELL SELL as the price of frozen orange juice was plummeting...........Then after the BIG DUMP was over, some other guy decided to buy up the shares on the cheap...........ONE DOLLAR! I bet ONE DOLLAR that this stock heads back to $5.50 before you can whistle, where is Beaks?

    It's a done deal now.............

The new dividend will be announced shortly..........However if you are playing with nothing but short term options, then it is best to take the fast money and run.....I see this stock making a pretty quick run at $6 and then holding a bit.....I will gladly buy more shares at prices below $5 now.........NO risk per se........Let the hotshots go chase GOPRO and Telsa for a fast buck.........I like the sure and safe.

Finally after months of government delays, the Regency deal is a done deal.......Now perhaps EROC can get on with running the company and building back shareholder value......With oil and gas commanding such high prices these days, it will be good to see dollars going to develop those oil and gas fields rather than running up huge legal fees and administrative costs dealing with the FTC.........

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • JE's latest dividend cut was done to conserve cash? Like saying the reason I lost weight was because I was 30 pounds overweight...............And was I was overweight? Why was JE reducing its payout? BECAUSE they sold off part of the company and cut the debt by nearly 50%. Pretty good deal in my world if you can sell an appliance warranty and repair biz for $505M Canadian and still give out nearly an 8% yield and then you have the payout ratio you always wanted without having to touch the core businesses. I will let the short term sellers sell out today and buy more next MON or TUE......

Management lost a ton of credibility when it cut the dividend the first time.......Cut it again and you are looking at a $4 stock with a 13% dividend and then more expectations for dividend cuts as employees flee the company and customers have second thoughts........The bottom line here is the company must continue to execute on its operating plan and the rest will take of itself...... Cash flows are growing........

Shorts Need Another Bag of #$%$ on Here

What eventually forces shorts to cover on a stock like this is when they start to feel the pain of paying out a 13% dividend out of their pockets......Every 30 days, the margin man comes for another 1% plus of their borrowed balance......If the stock goes no where, the margin man wants his 1% plus another .5% or so which means in 90 days, there goes almost 5% of their investment. ME? I just collect the 13% annual dividend and stash it in the bank. My local Chase bank is paying 1% so it is pretty clear where the smart money is going....

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Some guy or group of folks gets sold out of their margin positions and the stock drops like a rock.. Nothing behind it........watch the dust settle a bit.........buy in super cheap.........A few months later, you are sitting on a 25% cap gain plus you pocketed a 13% divi! Didn't we hear from the Wall Street ANALysts that T bonds were a bust at the end of 2013? Mortgage REITs and utility stocks, ditto? Emerging market bonds should be sold at 5 yr lows back in FEB and just get me out at any price? Now everyone of those investments is up 20-40% and the so called PROs on Wall Street are sitting with 20% plus LOSSES on Amazon and a host of other MO MO names.......So take a deep breath and ask yourself what changed from WED to FRI on this stock? BUY BUY BUY!!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • JE stock down 25% in less than 2 days based UPON NOTHING! Read the earnings report.....Nothing to talk about in that report......So now I can pick up a 13% yield and just collect.... Payout ratio has NOT changed from 3 months ago.......So what is the big hoo-ha? To me, it would appear someone got caught out on MARGIN and now has to bail out...........Ahh.......playing around with large amounts of MARGIN are a dangerous thing..
