Hal, I think they stopped doing the shows when they were afraid to say something they should not... Ti me frame co-incides with increased customer funded development
"Same things happened back in 2013"...... Hal, agree that there are qute a few similarities between the 2013 and current timeframes. I put the significance of the revamped roadshows along another line...
"For the right price he would sell. When I say $10 I take into account the fact that the stock is at $2.32. I have scenarios where this can go to $30 per share but it does us no good to fantasize."
Well said . It is far better to set more reasonable short term estimates, and to have a plan for when what you expect to start (or does not) occurs.
On the June 19's
Jar, the 6.50's and 7's(calls) combined are now 1300 shares more than the. Puts (7's). Not in and of itself a big deal. However, with the run over 7, I would have expected the 7 puts to start being closed out. Similar to the Sept calls. Things that make you go Hmmmm.
Off to catch the weekly plane...
Simple answer Leo. Figuring out a way to harvest the idea for themselves. As star said, never good to have the heavyweights come out against you, Given the state of government, you always have to worry about undue influence.
The lateness of their filings only adds to the credibility of the filings. Couple that with their own "idea" (lol) for the same thing released on the heels of the filing... Points to a credibility issue. but when has that ever stopped Washington.
In the A&D and government contracting world, having a general on your side is common. They have good connections. It all depends on "your" general.. Dig a bit deeper with regards to the re-release of information. Couple it with their other press release in the last week.
Another interesting item on the preso's. HIMX used to leave each monthly preso up (yes they were doing roadshows that often...), Sal always did a great job comparing the "changes" to the customers from the customer by product line sheet. Beginning late q3 last year, those were pulled . Only the most recent presentation is up.
Makes one think.
Hasch, HIMX was extremely active with the roadshow up until ~August last year.... Then they withdrew for th most part. Investor presentations which had been updated monthly were not. Recently, they seem to be pulling the roadshow back out and the preso's updated.
Easy enough to speculate why this was... happy to see them back on the road.
