yes they just ripped off all the shareholders and r stealing this company for nothing, when you consider the loss carry forward they can use offset future profits. WOW I see why people get upset with these high flying crooks stealing from honest investors, happens over and over again. I would rather see BSDM go bankrupt than let these crooks make millions off long term investors. JMHO
Their buying this company for nothing when you consider loss carry forward benefits of 30 plus million dollars. Heck their making money off it!!!! Shareholders just got screwed big time, should see some lawsuits popping up. This was a insider scam job!
they have failed to tell investors why their CEO just quit? they stated they would come out and tell us what x CEO new position was going to be shortly, never did? They have data on the first 12 patients on the long term lasting effects of stem cell treatments, but don't want to release? Not sure why company has decided to not to talk anymore? But explains why stock price is not going up much, in fact way down from earlier this year.
One would suspect they have a lot of prelim data on current P2a trial since they do monthly progress reports on each patient, sooo didn't hear anything leaking that patients were having fantastic results, if they were it would have leaked out by now. The silence is not a good sign
my concern with long term effects on the first 12 patients is that after the stem cell treatment wears off, does it cause the ALS to progress at a faster rate than normal? meaning the slow down in progression in ALS as a result of treatment is offset in big speed up in progression of decline after treatment wears off. Investors need to know this. They have that data, release it!
don't forget that if we have some of those patients regress faster after taking stem cell treatment, it will kill BCLI, CUR found that out and it was something they never expected. So nothing is a given, all it would take is one or 2 patients to regress faster than normal. FDA upholds to cause no harm, this after all is a safety phase trial, to see if there is any harm caused by treatment and that includes not increasing the rate of ALS progression to any patient as a result of treatment.
said they were playing with stats to make stem cell treatment look better than it was, so must take caution when it comes to stem cell treatment for ALS, it just may not work as effective as we think. Sure would like to know how those first 12 patients in the phase 1 study are doing? BCLI knows that info, but are they willing to share it? If not, cant be good, since if it was positive they would be all over it with press releases, let's see if they have any follow up info on these patients at this conference.
there is no new data, they have stated the next data release on ALS trials will not be until 2q of 2016, so I suspect they have looked at old data and maybe break it out with clearer detail, maybe info on how the patients that originally had the first batch of stem cells are doing. They should have much more info on how long the effectiveness of the treatment lasted, that is a very critical part of the whole treatment process, so lets see if their willing to talk about the lasting effectiveness of the treatment. My hope it is still working at slowing down the progression, which would be fantastic
yah, that statement seems to be scary, you have one of the most respected persons in bio-tech who no longer has anything to do with the company except give a presentation. What a waste of talent. What the heck happened?
seems that was to happen shortly, but the shortly time frame has past. so why are they afraid to let shareholders know why the resigning of the CEO?
???? cant really see why u r happy CUR is giving up on stem cell ALS, this should cause a major concern that stem cell treatment may not work at all as a effective treatment for ALS. I consider this bad news along with the silent treatment on CEO just ceasing to want the job!
he may have a non disclose clause in his contract that prevents him from saying anything, so all news must be approved by Fred Flintstone(new CEO)
it's like making Fred Flintstone CEO, after having Einstein running the business. Now we have Wilma & Dino & Barney as a cast in running BCLI, should be a great cartoon!
agree, not shareholder friendly at all, shortly I guess with BCLI means sometime in the future, maybe next month, maybe next year? Maybe the shortly issue is Fiorino has decided to just totally walk away from BCLI, which I have a feeling he has, why would you stay with a company you just resigned from at CEO, without giving warning, you wouldn't. and not a word from Fiorino? Strange
looks like he did based on company profile. I'm waiting for that statement from company as to what happened. seems they are very reluctant with their shortly statement, it's been a week, shortly to me is a day or so
have never heard it put that way? strange, must have been very sudden, so leads me to believe there was either a major misunderstanding with other management maybe even a fight or former CEO found out some info that had not been disclosed to him before, which if he had known would have never took the position in the first place. People just don't ceased to serve as CEO, unless major issue, since that would be such a black mark on their resume for the rest of their life. I don't think Fiorino is a quiter
still 19 employees, 19 million was made through profit? come on that money was raised through selling or dumping or diluting shareholder value. BIG DIFFERENCE
they have 19 employees working at BCLI, so being a CEO of 19 employees is like managing a small Subway sandwich shop, So I bet he gets a cheap thrill going to work and has a name tag that states he is a CEO of 19 employees. WOW
Wish someone would come out and state why CEO resigned, so far they have avoided stating the reason, hmmm, must be something? Also Zak article stated only 25% chance of FDA approval, not sure how they came up with that number.
you need to go back and read Fiorino resume, to call him not a business expert is just a shame, the guy runs circles around new CEO. He combined both business and the science in one package a true combination that's almost impossible to find.
my guess they are working on some kind of statement that will not give the true reason, but Adam will see through that in a second. Remember CEO said he would be honest, so resigning really does hold a lot of meaning. which is not good!
