    Bump for our new troll.

Strange that Rubicon attracts so many trolls.

These trolls should consult the experts at Royal Gold and Franco Nevada before stupid comments.

    Bump for Califmale

It was absurd that I purchased gold at less than $300 per ounce in 1998 and 1999.

Upon reflection, one of the most absurd actions I have ever taken !!!

I am 100% comfortable with Rubicon.

Califmale suggested that it was absurd for me to be 100% comfortable with Rubicon.

I am very aware that Rubicon represents a speculative opportunity. No problem.

I know that time, money & patience are keys to success.

Rubicon's project may benefit long time investors with time, money and patience to stay the course.

Although there are NO GUARANTEES, I suggest RBY will provide me a handsome return.

If anyone has doubts about Rubicon, find an opportunity that fits your comfort level.

    SouthernGent / GoldMetalMania

P.S. - Some people are unable or unwilling to speculate on Rubicon's future success. No problem.

But to underestimate Rubicon is absurd.

Rubicon has already beaten the odds.

    Onward to Production !!!

Bilbo - What few people REALLY understand are the challenges encountered by those that attempt to build an enterprise. How many people build a business ??? How many succeed ???

Most people work for 'THE MAN' or a government entity.

For Rubicon's Detractors - If you can't support Rubicon, find an enterprise you can support !!!

I just don't appreciate people that work against an enterprise.

It seems easier for people to damage a company rather than build something of value.

It is apparent why most people are not financially independent. They are not builders !!!

Califmale - You express concern about Rubicon's future ???

Given the number of publicly traded companies available, you may chose one or more companies that better fit your comfort level.

I am 100% comfortable with Rubicon.

I remain one of Rubicon's largest retail shareholders.

But I suspect Rubicon will be acquired before investors reap the FULL rewards of production. That is not my wish.

    Why worry ???

    SouthernGent / GoldMetalMania

P.S. - My experience in the past 6 plus years with Rubicon dictates that I only invest in private ventures in the future. I think it will be a much happier experience.

Remember - Free & Fair Markets do not exist - especially in the gold sector !!!

Everyone that contributes to this message board has a Rubicon position.

    - Investor

    - Trader

    - Short

    - Detractor

When I read posts, I attempt to determine the position of each message board contributor.

My position is well-known. I remain a Rubicon investor since 2008. I want to witness this company produce gold and employ people. Whether the stock rises or falls, I remain a Rubicon investor through each stage - exploration, discovery, development and production. Very simple strategy that may lead to huge profits.

This message board would improve if certain contributors more fully identify themselves.

Example - If you are short RBY/RMX and a detractor, that would be helpful to readers.

Example - If you trade RBY/RMX and a detractor, that would be helpful to readers.

    Disclosure builds credibility.

I may not like someone's Rubicon position but true honesty has value.

    Don't hide behind a computer screen !!!

Rkymtgeo - I never claimed RBY is the best thing since sliced bread. I don't think it is a sin to sell RBY.

But I do think it is noble to support the building of a company that will produce a product and provide jobs. Unlike others, I support Rubicon.

    As a long time investor, I sold 250,000 low-cost RBY at $5.06, $4.35, $4.15 & $4.00 per share. I don't play games with the stock.

High Frequency Traders, Stock Flippers, Shorts & Detractors work against my interests as a long time Rubicon Investor. That is why I am opposed to trading.

I am shifting to private business isolated from the foolishness of the stock market.

Since investing in the stock market provides me no pleasure, there is no reason to remain involved after Rubicon.

    SouthernGent / GoldMetalMania

P.S. - It would be great to create an enterprise that can support charities long after I am gone. Perhaps I can create such a vehicle ???

Jazenevd - You should explain your comments.

    - You claim I inflicted harm on widows, orphans and others. Please provide proof - names please.

    - You encourage me to repent. I did not know you believe in God. Please explain your thoughts about God.

    - You claim I am stupid. When did you administer an I.Q. test ???

    SouthernGent / GoldMetalMania

P.S. - This message board continues to wait for disclosure of your Rubicon position:

    - Investor

    - Trader

    - Short

    - Detractor

Your credibility hangs in the balance.

    P.P.S. - Since 2008, I remain a passive Rubicon investor with over 700,000 shares.

Jazenevd - In the interest of full disclosure, please specify your Rubicon position(s):

    - Investor

    - Trader

    - Short

    - Detractor

Such a disclosure would be a boost to your credibility.

FWIW - Based on your post, I would have never been a Goldcorp investor !!! As you may remember, I invested in Goldcorp during the tenure of Robert McEwen.

Jefrey - It is easier & quicker to buy an existing, high-quality home in excellent condition than build a high-quality home from scratch.

It may be more economical to buy an existing, high-quality home in excellent condition than build a high-quality home from scratch.

Fact - It is far easier & quicker to buy Rubicon than duplicate Rubicon.

Question - Is it cheaper to buy Rubicon than duplicate Rubicon ??? Remember the multi-millions of tax credits Rubicon has on the books ??? Don't forget Rubicon's massive land package.

I doubt Rubicon will survive as an independent company. Much depends on the price of gold.

    SouthernGent / GoldMetalMania

P.S. - The fact that we don't want a buyout after many struggles is not appreciated. The decision will be made by deep pockets.

    - I hold a large physical gold position at less than $300 per ounce

    - I hold a large US Dollar position

    - I hold a large (low-cost) Rubicon position

When should I worry ??? Not in my lifetime !!!

    SouthernGent / GoldMetalMania

P.S. - Even if gold remains stagnant or falls, Rubicon's share price can rise for reasons well-known to detractors.

Anyone that claims to KNOW the future price of gold is suspect.

A large (low-cost) physical gold position trumps all.

  • goldmetalmania by goldmetalmania Aug 31, 2014 8:30 PM Flag

Buyout and/or Production - Rubicon is worth more than the current share price - Really Simple Concept

    $3 per share ???

    $4 per share ???

    $5 per share ???

    $6 per share ???

    $7 per share ???

Much depends on the gold price.

Too funny that detractors work against little Rubicon.

Park - If investors, traders, shorts and detractors want to be honest, all parties will agree Rubicon is in the process of change.

Buyout and/or Production - Rubicon is worth more than the current share price. Investors, traders, shorts and detractors must embrace this simple fact.

Very sad that some message board contributors work against Rubicon, employees and investors. No names required. They are easy to identify.
