That's my opinion too, I mean even if approved, the all time high is less than 60, and there were a lot less shares out then. Even if approved, a 100% gain which would be shocking puts it back at 30- got to double again to hit 60!
Interesting- so why are the May 20 calls trading so high? Something strange about all of this- when the 52 week high was 42 who is wanting to buy $60 strike calls?! Cannot see how this would get to $60.
How big of a premium? The stock all time high was under 60 when there were a lot fewer shares outstanding. The high this year when people were confident in approval was 42. The most bullish sell-side analyst has a target of $60. Considering current price of 14, where do you think it will be acquired? 50? 75? 100?
Doesn't seem to make sense?! I mean I could see it going back up to the 40s, but 60?
TERP struggling, but not under $6 yet.
I am OK owning TERP if it closes under $6 45 days from now. I think even with SUNE at 0, TERP is worth over $6 and probably more like $12. GLBL might hit $0 though.
If you do that, you may miss the rebound! I agree these have been heart breaker stocks, I am basically ruined. I did sell the May $6 TERP puts today, I do not think it will go below 6.
You hit the nail on the head. I turned a relatively small stake into $1 million, then lost half. That 500K capital loss will eat a hole in my brain for the rest of my life unless I can double my money to use the losses.
I'm in a position where I have to double my money by end of 2017. Willing to take big risk. What would your favorite stocks be to do this.
I agree which is why I don't hold anymore. However, when SUNE files for bankruptcy and institutions are forced to dump on the pink sheets, it will go to 10 cents, then rebound to 40 or 50 cents for no reason. Happens every time- whether it's short covering or just some BS rumor that comes out and pumps the stock. I hope to make all my losses back on that pump.
Further, the concept of opportunity cost: that makes it $24,799. So essentially, sold 100 for 2.40. Got to buy em back for 2.40.
May not seem like much to most here, but it means something to me.
Will it rebound? Will it bounce back to $2 again or is this the end?
