With bid at 1.32, proceeds would be $196,000 after commission. Alternatively, one could sell 3000 of the $3 puts at 0.55 bid, for $162,000 after commission. Then if it goes bad you just file for bankruptcy.
That's something I find attractive.
Looks like I will be buying in at 8.50 for 10K shares. Will add if the drop continues. In your opinion when will it hit $20? I am thinking mid 2017, I can wait for that.
And a lot of hedge fund guys think this is worth $25+++
I think you're right, I lost over 60% of my money then got in a serious accident where I need to make it back, I am putting it all on Green Bay to win the Super Bowl.
This stock will be over 18 by then.
Something ain't right here. Every analyst and hedge fund guy thinks this is worth at least triple the price if not more. Yet it drops every single day?!
I appreciate your concern from last week. I got hit by a gd uninsured motorist. More injuries than you can shake a stick at.
That ain't me babe- I had to get out of the markets after getting in a serious accident. Money is all going to bills.
My god that could be a life changing gain, I lost half my money and was thinking I would make it back but then was seriously injured in an accident and am spending all my money on rehab. Probably better that than options though.
Too bad you're blinded by your greed to such an extent that you can't see GM execs all belong in jail as well. Hypocrite butthead.
I wish I could have stayed in, as it looks like we could see XIV triple digit price pretty soon. I got hit by an uninsured motorist and insurance isn't providing adequate coverage, so I had to sell and will be using the money for that. It's truly given me a renewed appreciate for the small blessings and I am incredibly thankful that I can afford to do this, as many others would not have the funds. I wish everyone here the very best of success!
Thank you, same to you! It's a good news bad news. Bad news is I was in a pretty serious accident. Good news is I have a renewed appreciation for all the blessings in my life. It shouldn't have required that, but we're all only human I suppose.
Great trade! I just sold XIV and closed my brokerage account on a permanent basis. I have had some unfortunate personal circumstances develop that require me to use the money. It's a shame there's only a bit over half what there was a short time ago, but I can only blame my stupidity for that.
Long time no post, I lost one third of my money on UVXY spike and am now down almost 50% after catching a falling knife elsewhere. Did you hear Schizo, a well known poster who had made tons of VXX, had over 100% loss in that two day move? Another poster is saying he is bankrupt.
You can lose, and I did- to the tune of 1/3 of capital. Get me a padded cell.
Very nice- sounds lucrative! Keep financing that SVXY, it's going to be a long term winner along with XIV (we hope). Could be we go down another 50% first, I hope not.
