yeah. i forgot earnings were today. i meant to buy more before close today. hopefully they won't spike before i can buy more tomorrow morning. if it shoots out of the gate, i won't chase. but those numbers are pretty good.
remember when avimorax said "ecig lost 200 million", and i came back with "umm, yeah it was a loss on derivitives NOT a cash loss". well i wonder what he'll say to the 42 cent earnings per share on a stock that is only 40 cents. probably that "it's a non cash gain on derivitives", but you cant have it both ways avimorax. if you say they lost 200 million last period, you gotta admit they MADE a bunch of money this period
no reason for the pop this morning, so i jumped in, short, for 5,000 shares at 2.75.
just covered at 2.25 for a quick $2,500.
who cares where it goes from here. i'm out.
gotta say i was nervous of some big news where it continued up after my short. but it turned around nicely for me.
thanks again, boys.
follow me over at GDP.
looks like ol' golong is right again. gdp opened red, and hit 10% red, which, as i said, was my cue to cover. 34% two day gain.
AND, here's the best part: as i said, i might go long again. Well, i did. bought back in for the same 5,000 shares at 0.70.
again, not huge money, but i'll take $1,000 every few days.
i AM a daytrader smither1970. and a 20% one day profit more than makes up for my losses.
i'll probably cover tomorrow on the morning panic sell.
people will come home from work, see GDP down 20% and "sell on open" before leaving for work.
i'll scoop up those shares to cover, probably at 10% less than today's close.
gotta play the trend, dude.
after tomorrow's plunge, it will be a 30% two day gain, and then MAYBE i'll consider going long again. who knows.
i might play the GMCR selloff too. limited resources to play all these plungers.
no way GDP opens green tomorrow though. so i'm sitting pretty on this short.
cool! avi.morax is back. it's about to get interesting. he wouldn't be here spreading lies if there wasn't buying pressure.
everyone knows my position in ecig. lets see who's right.
i never said how much money dummy. just that i love making a quick 30%. everyone knew (or should have) that a takedown was coming today after yesterday's spike. sorry you were the only one who didn't know.
despite the price target update being 500% higher than the current price, i listened to my detractors and sold out at .87 today.
i might go short, like they did, hoping for bankruptcy. but currently, i'm out (both ways)
and they made a significant profit on the sale. HOW DARE THEY when shortsellers like yourself want them to go bankrupt.
the unmitigated gall of Goodrich to make a profit, and get a $100 million cash infusion.
how dare they prolong the inevitable. must be such bad news to a short seller, such as yourself. why did they have to go and make you wait. why not just go bankrupt already so you can make your money and move on to another stock to short.
HOW DARE THEY!!!
dude, i bought at $1.02 (if you bothered to read my posts).
and what changed since friday to cause this to hit a new low? A $50-60 million profit on a sale of assets? me thinks it's red today cuz the overall market is getting slammed.
as i said (if you bothered to read my posts), check with me in 3 months.
the likelihood of bankruptcy went down with this news
dude, they just MADE $50 million on the sale of the asset. pretty sure that goes into the "cashflow" department. i suggest you cover your short
The made a PROFIT on the sale of almost EQUAL to the market cap.
they just sold LESS THAN 50% of Eagle Ford assets for over $100 million, and the market cap is only $54 million.
looks pretty good to me.
watch the options catch fire in the next couple days (that's the short sellers way to cover without spiking the price)
