Folks....Let's try and get this oral argument recordings issue straight..
The case has been remanded back to the Chancery Court and Judge Parsons by the Supreme Court to further determine the extent and method of damages to PIP in conformity with the findings and rulings of the Delaware Supreme Court. In a Supreme Court proceeding the Court will normally allow oral arguments, but not evidentiary testimony.
Judge Parsons has the option to make a new ruling on damages by using only the trial record as it presently stands before him, plus the written and oral arguments of both counsels, or, he could expand that to include the opening up of the proceedings to include new testimony, and experts, by both parties, on the issue of damages. In such event it would amount to a new "quasi" trial on the issue of damages, but not liability.
The Supreme Court oral arguments are generally recorded for public replays. I do not believe on-going Chancery Court proceedings and testimony are generally recorded for public replay. They are of course recorded on site by a Court reporter.
Please cite where this "free recording" of the previous hearing before the Supremes can be retrived. Would be glad to eat my words .
Siana....You're a true breath of fresh air on this Board. Intelligent...well spoken...the whole works.
I don't have to ask what you do for a living. Obviously something that requires both intelligence and communication skills!
Last person here who had the same profile was Playthrough who had the same attributes.
I didn't even mind he went to Cal either! Wish him well wherever he went..........
Bandwagon is seldom right except perhaps twice a day like a broken clock.
Seriously...rates may be going up but not much. 30 yr perhaps 4.5%... 10yr 3.25%...big deal.
Fed will not be raising FF rates for years, if ever.
Gold is down over 40% from it's highs. That discounts alot of anti gold news.
Most goldspeculators are probably out. Market was over extended and hyped on fear and
the "bandwagon" rushing in to buy. Exact opposite is in play now. Everyone anti gold.
That is the time to buy...not join the crowd. Barrons says this stock is worth $35 or more,
at $1150 gold.
Matters not if you buy at $16 or $15. It's a great buy down at these levels IMHO.
My next one is going to be KPTI on a meaningful pullback in price.
Take a look at it guys and gals. Maybe even one of you here gave it to me.
ML really likes the technology. Out of RLYP for now after a double plus in a little over a month...
That one was some ride!
You asked the question as to who is the "board's reporter"? I mean how friggin stupid of a question was that?
Seriously. Do you really think someone here is monitoring the on-going legal proceedings as they happen and is reporting back to this Board? I couldni't believe that was a serious question frankly. Most court's do not allow a tape recorder in a court room without getting a Judge's permission first. You just can't willy nilly walk into a courtroom and start recording the proceedings. Bailiff will throw you out in two seconds.
"Where can transcripts be found?" was your next question...
They are recorded, and made by the court reporter, who sits in court and records testimony.
If you want a written transcipt she/he will make one up for you at a cost of around $1500 for
a motion/or trial that lasts approx. 30 minutes, and obviously more if the testimony lasts longer.
Now I'm sorry you took offense to my factual responses to what were some very stupid questions by you, that any high school kid with half a brain would probably know, or could simply look up, by using Google, if he/she was interested.
You on the other hand are some lazy #$%$ fool who trys to get other people to do their homework for you.
My guess is some type of middle management? Either that, of just an unemployed "D" student from nowhere? LOL!
You can buy a copy of the recorded transcript from the court reporter. Shouldn't cost more than
$1800 depending how long the proceedings last! Please let us know when you get it, and please share
what was said! Thanks again...
Even2ucanbeinsane is going to volunteer to be a subject in the trials and be inflicted with smallpox because he told me it's the only job he's applied for, and been accepted, in the last 25 years! LOL!
Yes nut job. It's all one big conspiracy from the Courts on down to the FDA to put Siga out of business and ruin the shareholders! I saw it on Fox news last night, so it must be true!
Man....Your shrink must be rolling in dough seeing your five times a week...LOL!
OMG....I am dealing with absolute morons here...The one guy (even2ucanbeasstupidasIam) should be in a locked ward someplace, and you're quoting me a page out of the FDA handbook. You can't infect people with smallpox to gain FDA approval. You do understand that I hope. Therefore, you must have extensive animal studies with ST-246 backed up by hopefully someone who actually received ST-246 (the one soldier comes to mind from ancient history), and then hope the FDA has enough to grant approval given the limitations of the trials.
But you cannot proceed at all until you and the FDA AGREE on a trial design (SPA). This has not happened yet with Siga and the FDA. It may in fact never happen. That is the problem in a nutshell, no pun intended to evenu2arecrazy....the "nut" part I mean.
Drod....I chalk this year up to pure luck....seriously. Picked the right stuff for the most part and sold and didn't worry about long term versus short term gains. NFLX....Been there done that. I went short Merrill Lynch 25 years ago in the 50's and almost got wiped out when it hit $104. Cured me from every shorting anything again. You'll recover.
Spectrollmicro.... You are totally clueless aren't you on the FDA approval process? Truly one of the dumbest and mot blantant inaccurate posts I've ever read. Seriously. You can't get approval without first getting an agreed upon trial protocol agreement with the FDA called a SPA. Siga hasn't even gotten that far. In fact, I doubt if they're even past very preliminary discussions with the FDA on a SPA for ST-246. Why do people like you lie on a message board? Or are you just simply stupid? Which one is it?
Henry....No...I actually took it all out at a $27 plus average. Looking to get back into it though
however much lower frankly. Still like the company and it's prospects alot!
ONTX...Sold this morning at $14.50...Took the 3.5 pt loss. Need it this year after TSRX and RLYP doubled, DRTX.TTPH,SRPT, and some others were big winners for me. Been a very good year in the bios thankfully.
Next one will be KPTI if it ever trades back into the mid to higher teens.
ONTX lead their IPO out with a very high risk pancreatic cancer indication which was a 10:1 shot to begin
with. Should have put that trial on the back burner after they got a winner like MDS could be. At least the odds are far better with that one. You don't lead with a longshot loser. Management is obviously inept which is another reason I dumped it. One inept management holding is enough for me!
Tween....no...I have 15k of Siga at $2.92. I think Parson's will want to stick it to Siga again but in a way that would hold up on any appeal. But as a longshot he could come to the logical conclusion that expectation damages at the time of breach were nominal, and simply award those and blame it on the Supreme Court!
In bios I'm looking to get into KPTI on any pullback into the 18's...Bio and high risk, but looks darn
interesting frankly. GL!
Took a 4 pt loss but that's better than it is now. Looked at that opening today as a gift from Manna.
Really didn't like the way management has guided this company. Throwing away IPO money, not to mention
some very bad PR and decline in stock value, on a very high risk probability of success (pancreatic cancer) indication, before at least "hitting" on one (MDS), is amateur hour, and simply foolish. Get some winners first, then go into the higher risk applications. Not vice versa. Simply stupid. In MBA school that strategy would garner an "F"...Seriously.
