Surveys reveal that round 70% of the pills obtained by people misusing prescription medication for the first time are obtained from friends and family members, often without permission, from old prescription bottles.
State and federal agencies plan to crack down further on rogue doctors and clinics that are “pill mills.” This will require participation from state medical boards, law enforcement, and the DEA.

You sure you are not high on Nucynta?

  • DEPO has becomes a leader in pain control. Shareholders should get benefit from the company especially on those days that stock is down. Today is a free day.
Good man, TW has said that he is taking Duexis daily, one of the drug that HZNP is selling, and it's selling a lot, must know how to sell. That's right, HZNP does not sell any drug that is harmful in long run and as a matter of fact, HZNP drugs like Duexis prevent ulcer and internal bleeding and even death. Now, my point is if anyone official in DEPO has tries Nucynta? I hope not since it may be ok occasionally but people get hooked to it and my God withdraw is very hard. You can't function for days and you know how it feels.

***** $100 MM (less the $25 MM that they paid) in what a similar late stage product would have cost.*****
So, you mean DEPO did not pay $75m or $75m transaction was happened under the table.
Yeah, IRS closes its eyes and ears to this kind of transitions and let DEPO/ENDO to cheat it.

  • According to FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge Diego Rodriguez, Novartis was providing incentives to push their medications on patients through the specialty pharmacy companies. According to the government, Novartis created a “closed distribution network” involving three specialty pharmacies, BioScrip (BIOS), Accredo, and US Bioservices in order to give Novartis control over how many Exjade patients would be assigned to each pharmacy.

HZNP is good except it issues shares like banana republic.
REGN has only 102m share outstanding while it is growing but not because of issuing shares.
HZNP shareholders should thank DEPO management and legal team who stopped TW from issuing more shares blindly. The guy is fast in diluting the shares.
I mean this is TW weakness that does not understand about dilution. He is genius marketing guy but why he does not understand dilution and some math amazes me. Hope he gets it this time before he rushes to issue shares again. The reason HZNP is going up at this time is because shares are not diluted.

Now that Depi, I mean DEPO has PiPi (poison pill) then it may look pale and red. Shareholders may say Miss Depi has raised the red flag and no CEO can get a date from her.
It is nice if Jimmy calls Timmy and say what’s up partner. Sorry for hardship but do you want to play it again?

    Some blockbusters drugs for sale

    by goofy_investor Nov 22, 2015 4:08 PM

When I heard that DEPO will start development and turns a $25m purchase into a blockbuster, I told GILD, CELG, AMGN and ABBV shame on you. Watch and learn from DEPO. You guys have paid billions and billions for some drugs yet you could not make them blockbusters. Look at this poor JNJ that could not keep a blockbuster like Nucynta and it has to beg DEPO for it.

The only thing I am worry about DEPO is that the company has not done any development in many years and it does not have a crew for R&D unless it hires new ones. It is like a 700 pound guy that want to race 100 meter in Olympic. First let cut the door so he can get out of his house then we will be worry about other things. There are some easier homeworks before targeting blockbusters.

DEPO won't last 24 months alone

After spending $25m for a blockbuster, DEPO has plenty of money for other acquisitions. May be DEPO becomes lucky again and find a few more blockbusters at $25 or lower.
I am wondering if DEPO checks ads recently, may be there are more, may be it can find the one that says buy one and get another free under $25. Hey, it is almost Xmas. Lets not spend money on junk gifts but find blockbusters. DEPO can Show HZNP that it can do it again without arm wrestling of its legal team but it is because of its brilliance research.

  • goofy_investor by goofy_investor Nov 22, 2015 4:08 PM Flag

DEPO got a blockbuster for only $25m quietly before telling the whole world every day that it will have one or two acquisitions before the year end. DEPO says it will be a blockbuster and we say OK.
Comm-on HZNP, there must be more blockbusters out there. Some companies are holding some and they may be willing to put them for sale. Buy one and get another free. Blockbusters are for sale, two for price of one under $25m. Free delivery. Yeah, show DEPO that you can do better. HZNP is not dead yet and still has some energy to put in this matter after long wrestle with DEPO, ES, NYT, Hillary and the rest of world .
Shareholder may be getting a little bit antsy since it is almost T day and Xmas and they are still waiting for one or two acquisitions. Every day at 7 AM sharp, or 4 PM, they check the news but TW is taking his time. Where is it? No please, don’t go after another hostile one. Shareholders rather have no acquisition than having one thru hostile.

DEPO won the case in regard to PiPi, I mean Poison Pill.
When judge saw the case, he started to laugh and laugh and asked HZNP lawyer, are you sure you are suing DEPO? This is not a joke or something?
HZNP lawyer: No honor, this isn't a joke, we are trying to remove PiPi from DEPO.
    Judge: Say what?
HZNP: Yes honor, you heard me correctly. It will be great for shareholders of both companies.
Judge: Who are you, mother Teresa!? Go tell your boss that you don’t know who are you dealing with? Although DEPO is selling drugs, I mean legal ones which are little bit different from illegal street ones, but they are also in law business. Don’t dare to get close to them before losing all your drugs to them.
    HZNP: Your honor, but...
Judge: Hash hash. Go tell your boss TW to wise up and quit the nonsense. Don't you see that DEPO stole a blockbuster from ENDP when it twisted ENDP's arm thru its legal firm. So, leave before I transfer all your orphan drugs to DEPO.

    Just for the weekend laugh.

  • A company should be good at something.
DEPO marketing and sale is below average but fortunately it has good lawyers.
They are so good and charming that a judge or judges cannot resist them.

phil, when somebody says "my guess is..." then you read it as "my confirm fact is..." and then you give yourself a license for ribbing, am I true?

  • goofy_investor goofy_investor Nov 19, 2015 7:38 PM Flag

**** I would expect both issues to pass by early next year ****
You are predicting yourself while criticizing others.

**** Unfortunately, i have November, December and January calls that are under water ****
Surprise, how and why did you dare to predict on those calls.

My imagination from you was a grumpy old guy who divorced his wife because the wife made a wrong prediction, kicked the kids out of the house because they did not put trash out as they supposed to and locked out the door on your cat because it sat in your chair that should not.

  • This blockbuster term has be been abused by many companies. I have seen other companies with some drugs that are failing and there is no chance of approval or chance of making a penny yet they call them blockbuster. I think GILD, ABBV, CELG and others must be sleeping to not know the potential of these blockbusters. Why those guys with billions sitting in their account and hungry enough to chase anything but they do not know about these so called blockbuster drugs.
Why Forest said no to this blockbuster drug which it could get it probably free.
