You used to be interesting and sometimes provocative. Now you've devolved into a pathetic parody of yourself spewing a non-stop stream of banal posts. Nobody cares anymore; nobody wants to play. Give it up, take your deflated ball and go home.
Cops are given deadly weapons in order to protect themselves and others' lives. They are trained and trusted not to use them frivolously nor to mete out justice as they see fit. Resisting arrest by running away - unarmed - from a police officer attempting to apprehend you does not give that officer the right to KILL you. Officer Slager deliberately drew his weapon, aimed it, and shot with lethal intent at Mr Scott, who was not an immediate threat to the officer or anyone else. He INTENDED to kill him, there could have been no other expected outcome to eight shots fired from 15 feet away. (Contrast this to the choke-hold death of Eric Garner which, while tragic, was not the officer's intent.) Other police units were arriving at the scene who could have assisted in arresting Mr Scott -- he was a heavy-set 50 year-old not getting very far.
In the days before the video surfaced, officer Slager had concocted a story, promulgated by his department, that would likely have cleared him of any wrongdoing. Slager is now being held accountable only by the emergence of video evidence exposing his lies and laying bare what actually happened. How many times has something like this happened with impunity because no such evidence exists?
Corrupt cops abusing the power and trust granted them by the public should not be tolerated or excused by anyone who respects our justice system. Those who condemn what happened here are not cop-haters, they are citizens upholding American values. Those who rationalize what happened in South Carolina or situations like it anywhere are simply un-American and should consider life in the third-world where they can experience all the benefits of a corrupt police force, including the indiscriminate use of deadly force. Enjoy.
My last words to you: I've been on Yahoo Finance since 1998, with thousands of posts on hundreds of boards. So once again you've proven how ignorant you are and why nobody should care what you say because you're just a know-nothing self-aggrandizing fool. Goodbye, pinhead.
You're a pathetic, inhuman, low-life. Goodbye, cretin.
It's the in-your-face know-it-all arrogance that gets him in trouble. Pride goeth before the fall, and such. Nobody would begrudge him otherwise.
Decades?! How does one trade a decades-long pattern formation? Academically interesting but useless in the context of any practical trading timeframe, IMHO.
"Only the few smart buyers are accumulating the best investments."
What makes you think those "smart buyers" are accumulating long positions? Those "best investments" could just as likely be shorts. We'll find out by watching which way volume goes in relation to market direction.
Or, maybe praying for those other things isn't newsworthy because it's so commonplace. I think you know this.
I normally don't get involved in religious or political discussions, but I have to ask - what makes you think religious people aren't praying for those things too? Is there some limited amount of stuff one can pray for? Sorry, I don't know how it works, but since you brought up the issue I presume you do. Please explain.
Wait...there WAS NO selloff. Greece had NO impact on the market, negative or positive. So why should it react positively now? What bullsiht.
Already did. Not liking that little SPY spike though, which drove down UVXY. Wondering what caused it.
Get real. No new president from either party will want to be remembered as the one who took away the candy dish, even if it's for the public's own good, unless he plans to be a one-termer.
