Worth a read as she is one the best. This might be totally bad news for CRUS because sometimes CRUS goes against the grain. Will be an interesting year.

    On support line

The key support is 18.9. The price is now trading under it. That is what his comments did break the key place of support. These guys do know what they are doing. They know when and how. They are good. 16.8 is extremely likely. The next place of support. But this thing is doing much much much much better than I thought. Yesterday's nice recovery is just another example. I still wonder what is coming and what do they know.

    Data,

You hit the point right on. For myself, I would prefer that they went private. Paid a nice dividend.

For the next two years, I think CRUS more than doubles phone and tablet business revenue. In part it will come from Apple a lot more will be from adding new business through voice quality.

    JMHO. Always appreciate your thoughts.

    Golf,

I think so. I cannot say what the new low will be though we will know sometime in the next 4 weeks. I plan to buy much back and I plan to sell a significant sum of 15 16 puts and buy a reasonable amount 16 20 calls with the money. Nothing in what was written wasn't already known.

    Replacement of Stein could mean

Would strongly disagree. Several comments during the past 3 or 4 calls talk a lot about the inch deep mile wide and that Cirrus has not experienced this type of business in a long time and that they are struggling. The new hire was about gaining that experience inside of Cirrus. Has nothing to do with an Apple socket loss. Does that mean that they have lost any socket? I do not know that but this has nothing to do with it.

    Feltl & Co. :
Yeah, thanks for taking the questions. You talked about the
Internet of Things. You talked about voice control. How important is the
    [ph] verbal (22:42) category
    for Cirrus?
    :
I think it will be important eventually. I don’t see so many opportunities that are really needle movers in the short term, but I think in the long run it’s a
great opportunity. I do think that there will be voice opportunity. I think it’s important to note that like any audio market, there’s going to be applications where it’s a very rudimentary amount of voice content, where it’s may be voice in and out, transmits to may beit’s a device that is operating as a satellite to a phone, et cetera, where really the opportunity’s pretty limited because there’s not
much processing actually happening in the device. But on the other hand, I think over the long term there will be devices that maybe aren’t even connected at all and so all of the processing has to happen within the device. So, I think in the long run it’s a very important space for us. I think most of the products that have been launched to date are still works in progress before they’re really an amazing driver of volume from a silicon perspective.

Go read Feltl analyst. There are not the same.

"ffective as of April 14, 2014, Cirrus Logic, Inc. (the "Company") transitioned Thomas Stein from his role as Vice President and General Manager, EXL Products, to another position within the Company."

Not the best news for Thomas. A replacement was also named. Many here asked why he was selling all the time. I think this answers the question. Wish him the best.

    Al,

He did not even remember his question correctly. The question was about the internet of things NOT wearables. So he says this is complete Apple driven and that Cirrus is not in Apple wearables. Boy talk about just plain poor reporting. OK some of what he wrote was correct 55 nam is next year. I think we get a buying opp. It is just SAD.

I think that 17 is hit again. If I thought otherwise I would buy higher. Cirrus is a technical animal sadly. This hurts CRUS ability to hire at least some because part of the compensation is stock options. I wish I could state otherwise. The chart is 45 30 and 15. But sometimes this long moves come up short. It looks to me that this one will come up short with 16+ as the low. But a rehit of 17 17.5 is almost needed to finish the chart.

This thing has some real legs this time. I think whatever the low is it will be lower than it normally should have been. I think the next down creates the real buying place. I think it is this month.

Yes but I also know that they will know before hand. They will move it early. It seems true that the only way to successfully own CRUS as an investor is UNFORTUNATELY to follow the technical patterns. All the powerfully great things being done at CRUS have not changed as it should have the way in which one can be profitable in owning this stock.

There was an article on Yahoo the other day that I thought said it best. It was discussing dark trading and that the NASD WAS Now ABOUT 40% dark. The big players are trading amongst themselves outside of the market. Does anyone know what that means. The big players trade now without effecting the market. This has left the market movement almost solely in the hands of the HF traders. They move it where they want and when with get ease. Floors that would have been much higher as big buyers must step in the buy do not happen.

I think that there is still a second hit at 17 coming. I am waiting, but I also see a chart a really bullish reversing chart starting to form.

    Trade,

It is hard to know for sure. I thought Cirrus is doing their best to tell us the schedule. The us sue though is still that they have ways to know in advance the wins. Those wins lead the revenue way ahead. They will run it early as they learn early.

They also took it for a year and early because they knew.

If I thought that, I would have purchased much at higher prices. From everything I read earnings and guidance will be very very weak. The question is how does the market react to that weakness. They may take it up in anticipation of something they know.

From a market standpoint, it seems that the NASD will hit 3900 and then likely go down to 34-3500. I think the markets have a long way to go down.

  • Everything I read about Apple shows that they will likely be weak for two quarters because of the rumors on the iPhone 6. They also think that the 6 sells will be huge. If this be the case, I think CRUS revenue remains weaker than normal until the Sept quarter. At that point, it might be much better than. I think caution is needed until after the quarterly report. At that point, I think buying would be in order.

Still, this stock has legs. It seems to be really looking forward to something. It is like they know something we do not.

MK, sent me an email with this link in it. Thought it was something interest and probably important:

    http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/04/03/apples-voice-recognizing-headphones-feature-built-in-accelerometer-beamforming-mics

Is this CRUS and will Apple really do this one. The CRUS chip is just this technology all in one. Will Apple make it? Good question, but if they do the lost ASP is back. I think the phone ASP is down 15-20% from the high of 3.25. or 45 to 60 cents. That ear piece chip would be something at least in this range.

Cirrus is also getting ready to fab at least one new chip from the jobs report.

I will be buying shares but only on the next dip. Was trying to figure how to take advantage for free with little risk more shares. I think this thing is moving up big in the next 18 months.
