Yes NEWL had a nice POP after 50% retrace from RS 6.00 2.90's yesterdays close...Hit 4.25 and couldn't hold through the day...I think DCTH RS would be like BPAX/ANIP where the low is made pre-RS and it takes time to grow...I think DCTH will get over a buck again and soon, the question over the long term is will it hold and if it does, do they RS to get over 5 for Institutes buying?!? If were over a buck and they still RS, then I think many will jump ship expecting more shares to hit the market. Doesn't matter if they do or not, it's the movement of expectation that would worry me holding for a longer time period.
ROSG did the RS then made new lows when cut 50% from RS PPS then next day had EXCELLENT news and SHORTS got trapped. They sold shares twice and the stock still went from 1.50's to 22.00+ Still got 50% hair cut. NEWL did that this week too. 50% discount from RS, new lows, needs excellent news, but with 3 RS's in less than a year I wouldn't touch it...BPAX was a better stock after RS. 1.06 to 6.36 on RS. Slow and steady and now in the 30's but that was off a merger...DCTH needs good news. I've been in and out of the trading range looking for a reason to HOLD!!! RS talk makes many nervous...
IGGY button in full effect here too. (LOL) Not going to talk much until we know more about wwhat is happening. I'm happy with my investment and expect a run at some time. :-)
You've never met Gail Page (former CEO VRML)
Michael Hill (CEO STTK)
JJ isn't that bad at all. The guy before him seems 'shady' and should be blamed for the 'fall' He somehow sold at the top...Imagine that!
It's better to DREAM and miss a lofty target, than it is to not even try...
I've only got 9 grand in DNDN. I've taken more out of the market to pay my taxes than I ever put into the market... So I'm playing with 'free money' forever...I don't get excited with 10-30% gains, 100-200% gains gets a bit more attention if gotten in a short amount of time. Just look at my history and how much I've gone up and down and you'd realize I'm not fazed by losses. TTNP 6,000+% WaMu in BK over 1/4 million in profits at one time (didn't sell) then watched it go down 110,000 the next day listening to court. I still made money and survived BK with WMIH shares. Also have rights to any settlements/lawsuits etc. Tronox I mostly talked about on IHUB but bought majority at .10 sold .50's (too early) watched it climb to almost 2 bucks payed out.
Made money in ABK before and after BK. Only 1 stock has beaten me over and over again. LUXD/STTK. Go short that one as they just keep printing shares to dump to very few investors, hence new lows upon new lows...
Not worried about DNDN, the future or the comp. If it get's low enough to get bought out for 1 per share, then I'm sure I'll own quite a bit more at even lower prices and still make money in DNDN. It's what I do.
Peso you do bring up good points about DNDN and all of it is a possibility, but I believe that when others run away, I should be running into it. Then once DNDN is the wall street darling, then I'm sure to be looking for the exit. (LOL)
I'm looking forward to going to the bathroom soon to collect my 'gold bars' (LOL) =P
Buyout ends the speculation, merger, partnership or debt deal would send the PPS higher over time.
Any of the above would be a nice transaction. :-)
I'm trying to have a few weeks to few months view for news...I'd rather 'rumors' start the PPS turning upwards for 6 weeks and then news...Chart looks good to do that IMO.
I'm not 100% sure it's a buyout. I think it will be quite PPS positive, but I'm not convinced it's a buyout...
9 bucks would still be a 200% gain. I think dealing with the debt would take us higher than that.
Even if it takes a while, I just think the stock is a bargain at these prices. 3 bucks after a huge fall, the debt uncertainty is putting downward pressure on the stock, but if positive news about fixing the debt happens...These prices will RISE and upgrades to BUY will happen after a 100% gain. Then Large instituitions will buy more, Crammer will mention us as a good buy with CEO having 2 years under his belt. We will become a wall street 'darling' that goes way too high to quick over a 2 year period. (100 bucks) then the SHORTS take over and cut us down to 50, we POP back to 75 then SHORTS down to 25 we creep back up to break our 100 high over a year, buyout rumors send us even higher 150-200 the buyout never happens we fall to 100 rinse and repeat. All I can say is "GOT SHARES" and be sure to sell around DOW 20,000!!! HUGE CRASH after that cuts stocks 75% use that money to buy low, rinse and repeat ever 5 years or so...
We're sorry, but the new 'deal' (buyout or partnership) does not include the need for your current position. We are shrinking for the sake of GROWTH. MASSIVE GROWTH in a short amount of time. Please accept this parting gift of 60,000 shares. Make sure to pay your taxes as one can never be sure if this 'deal' goes through quickly or takes time to close. We can't tell you any details, but your services are no longer required and won't be replaced by anyone here on behalf of DNDN. Other companies have existing positions filled and don't have the need to duplicate. Have a good career and thank you for choosing DNDN as a stop on your journey... =)
I'm doubling or tripling down if we hit 1.50 I'd make more in the long run with that many shares than if we POPED now on a buyout. Either direction, I'm planning on making money. :-)
#1 translates so well in real life...
'Hunny, does this make me look FAT?!?' Well if it does should I lie to her? (LOL) Being brutally honest has taught me to smile and redirect.
You look desert tonight hunny. =P
Lots of stocks go up even after issuing shares. Most go down but I've seen others like ROSG sold shares twice in a month while the stock POPED into the 20's from 1.50
VRML issued more shares than they had and...Up from a buck to 4 bucks!!!
PLUG's 1 month chart looks like we could in a month. Their 3 month chart is....=P
By May we will possibily have run higher than 3. Maybe not, who knows. I want cash and shares in the aquiring company if it's on the low end.
