    Jacob,

I also purchased TNP about a month ago in my ROTH, and about 2 weeks ago for the investment club I'm in (nobody is asking why yet, but it's coming...lol.) I'm certainly not an expert in the area, but I do know from prior experience with DIANA SHIPPING that these cycles take a couple of years to play out. I first purchased DSX in mid '06, and sold in late '07 for a great gain, and received a good divvy along the way. The stock popped again, I think in early '08 to late '08, but I wasn't along for that ride. As most of the rest of the shipping stocks, it's done #$%$ ever since. But I personally think we're in the beginning of another good cycle for the shippers, possibly particularly the energy shipping companies. The news on condensates (what you're referring to as light crude, I think) is nothing but smoke at this time, from everything I've read about it. But all in all things do seem to be looking up, so I'm going to ride this one for a while before I worry about the price swings...and collect a decent divy along the way. You may want to subscribe (it's free, e-mail) to the CAPITAL LINK SHIPPING WEEKLY MARKET REPORT. Great info on all segments of the shipping market, plus.

Good luck, and be patient, if you can.
