Shaping up to be a good quarter. Yen has gone the other way, so japan is looking good once again? Anyone knows how load factors in Japan are looking this quarter?
we are only a buck off of 52 week lows, while most airlines have doubled or tripled, there is definitely a lot more room to run up.
Even though we are up 20 percent in last month, I don't see a lot of articles explaining how business is improving at HA. Even a upgrade would help. Not sure how much more we can rally without analysis getting the word out.
Where is the upgrades are articles telling us business is improving for HA ?
Lot of downside for stocks today. I wouldn't be surprised if HA went the other way, the yen correction has happened. Ha shares plummeted when the yen was weakening, why not go the other way when it is strengthening.
Dollar to Yen 103 high to 95 Current.
The Yen has strengthen about 8 percent. We got killed on earnings on yen weakening last 2 qtrs.
The big question, will this Hugh unexpected strengthening in yen work in HA favor, where earrings will be to the upside, and analysis will start rising earnings expectations for HA?
This will be very good for HA, meaning stronger yen. Weird but true.
finally get past the 6 block, better days ahead.
Business is picking up second half of year. Yen Crises seems to be halted. Other airlines are reducing capacity to Hawaiii. Seems HA doesnt have the big monkeys on their backs anymore. Where are the analysis to tell shareholders this?
Just think if we got any good news, this thing would explode.
Yen crises is improving.
If you do your research, most airlines that flying to hawaii are reducing capacity to hawaii, although this hasnt of yet shown up in the numbers.in HA load factors, but it appears to be trickling in the right direction.
Even though maybe a bad day for most stocks, once again it may be not that bad for HA
I wish we can get this thing solved, but about 3 weeks now.
we need to smash through this thing.
It looks the Yen really weakened during the day, it was at 95 and some change, and now it is 100 and some change (dollar to yen ratio). A Hugh jump.
I think we are still in great shape. Yen should stay within the 95-100 range, down from the peak a couple weeks ago at 103.
Really ashamed we are keep having this 6 dollar road block.
The Yen Strenghened quite a bit last nigh and all other airlines up.
I think the HA japanese routes are now profitable, a hugh deal. Maybe we need a good article telling HA investors this.
I dont understand, this thing should be flying today?
This should be a great day for HA stock.
Friday trading should be very good, unless there is another airline crash. If airlines rally Friday, HA could see a 10% jump in stock price tomorrow.
Why not, they had 2 big monkeys on their back, it looks like they only have one now, and the load factor situation is now going in the right direction,
so sure we deserve a upgrade.based on valuations.
