  • I really hate companies that pay more than 2 time sales. As far as i can tell a 104 million for a company that had revenue of 29 million in 2012 sure looks like a reach at best.

Where else are you going to put your money. But if you got a nice gain take half off and ride the rest.

  • but they never could execute a plan or an idea that created value or a product that just kick butt. so i would blame management for never having that created spirits that creates great companies - To many commodity products with small margins. Then again, maybe i don't know what I'm talking about but maybe under new management there's a management team that can create value that the current management team could never do.

  • Hey, if the insiders don't want to put their foot in the water at these prices why should anybody else. But they are experts at selling.

  • Always layoffs, nothing innovative - is it obama's socialist agenda or just greedy american companies? i sure would like to know - even apple looks like a regular company now, i remember the days of innovation where cell phones, internet, cable, desk top compters, wireless devices, etc, now we have social media and apps - is that really innovation

They report a loss, they have a mere 3.5 percent yield, they announce lower earning estimates, they cancel a project and take a nice hit, there selling closer to their 52 week high and then they announce a 11 million share offer diluting existing shareholders and landenburg thinks its a buy. Come on, if I actually thought there was something wrong with the world i would think that maybe this was being done for the group who bought the shares at 29.5 so they could make a quick little profit. But i know this could never be because our society is so honest and trustworthy and the big guys would never take advantage of the little guys.

I just wish the company did - They tell you what an outstanding product this is - and not an insider buy, which just tells me its not as great as it sounds.

  • A sausage maker no big deal - now if its a tech company the politicians get all upset - if its the food chain no big deal - we sure do have smart politicians now don't we - of course, Walmart is a chinese broker. i think it would absolutely make sense for the chinese to take it offer - its perfect - everything comes from china - now you control the manufacturing and the retail - brilliant - Also, its all low wage labor - then they can probably do a better job of selling even cheaper goods finding away around any safety laws, and even taxes - i guess if they move the headquarters to china - they own no taxes to the US. A sausage maker - they makes sense - a few more acquisitions and you have the food chain under your belt - technology is pretty easy, you just steal that - then you just grab the retail space and before you know it, america is basically working for china at low wages - yes, indeed - china knows how stupid the politicians are - just dangle some money at them and they'll do anything you want them to do - they acquire the pork producer - not a peep out of washington - So china get it together dangle a little more money at the politicians and Walmart is yours for the taking,

    this stock has...

You could say that about most american companies. None of these companies can grow because of the greed of the stock market. they all need to work on new products, but yet they focus on cutting cost. the american dream die along time ago unless you are in social media, which pretty much sums up america today.

  • What a waste of time

  • Yet, it would seem that none of the insiders are buying it

  • I guess the logic here - if you really have nobody to monitor the food chain and everything is toxic, there won't be any alternatives. Give them a few years and they'll be closing everything in the usa and selling their hogs from china and I'm sure the hogs will be a thing of environmental beauty. the other great thing the chinese are learning is how to be so friendly to our caring political figures. But this acquisition falls right into the new world order where everybody from any country is just look as a number working under a third world mentally.

All I can tell you if the market holds up, the next group of stocks that are going to do well are semiconductor type stocks - these type of stocks are basically washed out and have been basing for awhile, but there backlogs have been building - so I'm thinking they are due a run here, The worst news here is the stock does nothing since its been in the penalty box for awhile. There other two stock also have started to move or at least stopped going down - ESIO and Cohu.

    Good luck to all.

I'm usually one of those earnings guys, I nevered looked closely at revenue as long as the earnings where going up. of course, you could have great revenue but no earnings becuase you are giving your product away. But over the last few years all these companies are reporting good earnings, but #$%$ revenue growth becuase of cost cuts - so maybe if you are growing revenue, and can muster some profits you have a winning hand.

  • Fiber optics had a two year spectucular run in the stock market. 3d printing is going to do the same. thats why the insiders have been buying, thats why they paid a dollar dividend in December. And the way I figure any good news on this stock will send it to the moon from just a lack of shares. of course, things can go the other way, but based on insiders, upcoming demand in a new industry, their growing client list, it would appear that the direction seems to be more in your favor going up than down.

  • Would you buy it at 94 dollars a share - thats what the ask is. of course, i'm sure if you put a market order in, it wouldn't go off at 94 but the price it would execute at might be pretty scary.

You are better off buying semiconductor companies since they are wash out and their backlog is building, a turn is coming in that area in 2nd half, expect people to begin driving the prices of those stocks up. Now, for asys, the solar industry depends too much of govt that is alway a problem, what asys should be looking into is smaller type panels that can be used for heating purposes. Basically try to develope some creative uses for the technology for instance - how about building little solar devices that can keep palm trees heated in the northeast by keeping the soil warm - sound crazy - but if it worked how many people would go out and buy a palm tree in the northeast . i'm sure htere's all sort of small solar situations that a company could create. Keeping sheds heated in the winter, ice skating areas, highway signs, roads, etc yet the solar industry sits on their fanny and watch china mass produce cheap solar panels for nothing but big projects - There must be a thousand ways to make money in solar using the sun. Create easy to install, maintence free solar packages for the everyday homowner and then move it forward to roads, bridges, lights, water, etc.

  • Just sell the whole company and call it a day.

  • I must admit, I'm tempted to buy some shares here. Every dog has its day, maybe this dog is due for a bounce. I would like to see some insider buying to confirm this dog might be waking up. Otherwise, if I buy a few shares here, I could be a bag-holder
