Super, you can thank all the people that are getting laid off at the plant that's shutting down. They got plenty of money to keep the plant open but the management and shareholders need to be taken care of. i'm not sure how these guys sleep at night ,but hey, Domtar should be sending you guys a thank you note. without Henry Ford management wouldn't be making what they are making today, in fact wall street wouldn't exist.
I'll just blame obamacare - but hey, if we keep laying off people, it aint going to matter what anybody sells. now all the places that support the mill have to reducr people - hey IP how about innovating new products or is that too tough - since you top dogs are making the big bucks - but I'm sure you'll get a raise for this great dea or cutting people. How about growing revenues instead of finding ways to cut cost.
After thinking about, lay everyone off, get a state grant or tax break to open the place back up again in two or 3 years - hire everyone back at a cheaper salary - brillant - see you don't even have to pay the big boys for this strategy, except I have a heart.
The guy with the vision is gone and Cook can't possible fill those shoes.
I think this is one of those stocks that could have hugh upside. i would have never thought Boston beer would apreciate the way it has, especially with the ease of entry into the industry and the fickle consumer.
But i guess its based on a continuous war, otherwise, they'll sit in the warehouse and collect dust. Then again, with the powerful influence of our defense industry, we will always be at war no matter if its a real or imaginary enemy.
