I'm referring to the drop below $7 and the lack of a rise above $7 after the deal closed. I expected the raise to be less than what the stock was trading at. The $7 didn't bother me it is the drop there after and was worried there was bad news we did not know about. If you listened to the call you would see that everything looks good and most likely it is only a matter of time before this moves higher. Manipulation is still the reason I believe. After all look, by bringing the stock down they have you questioning your ownership. If it moved up to $10 after the raise I am guessing you and many others would have bought more and been excited. Even though same company
The other side is you put a sell order at $10 so as to lock up your shares from those trying to borrow if I understand how it works correctly.
Agreed. They will drop the price themselves and get others scared into selling. Initial drop and then up big in my opinion.
When this stock starts trading you better be prepared for it to drop quickly (thanks to the shorts). If I were short that would be my move as it would scare many of those who had been holding all this time during the halt that just wanted to sell. When they are able to trad if they see it drop they will sell out of fear. After the initial fear is set the stock will drop. Probably down close to $1. At that point they will start to cover early in the morning as they realize others will know this is actually good news and will be buying up shares. Just my take but would be very surprised if this is not how it plays out.
I myself feel much better after the conference call. I was worried they were going to say something negative but only positive comments and events. Because of this to me it is clear that the stock drop is purely a result of manipulation as everyone waits for FDA approval. I agree that is always a risk but one I am willing to bet on. The fear I had that there might be bad news known by some and not others is now gone. I could care less about the daily price and now I am clear about the long term direction and timeline I feel very good about owning this stock.
Good call on shorting after the big run up but with the numbers they posted there is no way this should have dropped 40% no matter how big the run up. Crazy!!!
Thinly traded and manipulated easily. I would say with their earnings and outlook it is a pretty safe bet that the stock price is higher in the near future. Ultimately stock price will catch up to the business success. Just takes time.
Any short that is in this for a quick trade that is on margin is getting killed with added expenses. Maybe LLEN should initiate a huge dividend that the shorts held holding during the halt would have to pay!:)
