Here is how I see it.
Comparing the same quarter 2012.
Plant revenues increased by 611%.
Net income from plant Ops increased by 486%
We turned a $1.6M loss into a $1.4M gain OR 3c EPS swing.
It's all a game if numbers that can be interpreted differently.
The main questions to my mind are:
Are things improving? YES.

In my office I have a Chinese translator who I will have look at the articles and i will get back to you. But the info really should come from US Geo official PR.
But why wouldn't they want to consider being part of a project in Taiwan?. They do have massive untapped geothermal resources and the money to develop them.Sentiment: Strong Buy

No confusion here on my side.
The MOU was signed by US Geothermal Inc, and other Idaho companies to support activities in Taiwan directly relating to Geothermal development of there resources.
Why don't you contact Saf at US Geo he should be able to confirm this.Sentiment: Strong Buy

I totally agree.
Management seem to forget it is OUR money that funds this company. And by that I do mean ALL the small shareholders as institutions only account for 21% of shares.
This whole MOU with Taiwan, should we have been told it was happening?
Does anyone remember the last earnings cc, An investor asked the question about business in other parts of the world? Kunz replied we have been approached by Kenya and Indonesia but geographically they are too far away.
No mention about Taiwan!. But any MOU would not have been agreed overnight. That cc was only about 3 weeks ago!. Talk about being kept in the dark.Sentiment: Strong Buy

Not sure who you are suggesting is being deceitful here. I am not saying a deal is agreed but for sure a MOU has been signed by Senator Otter, US Geo and other Idaho companies. To support Geothermal projects in Taiwan.
I have contacted the Chamber of Commerce at Idaho State, they have confirmed that..FACT.Sentiment: Strong Buy

I don't know about you guys.
But this news really pi#### me off.
Daily the SP drops and news and plans that this company has, that might help support the SP is not mentioned. At the very least I would have expected a US Geo PR to coincide with the Taiwan news.

Unfortunately I can't paste the links on here but look at.
Ministry of Economic Affairs ROC website news it is all in Chinese but defo US GEOTHERMAL INC is mentioned in a signed MOU.
As investors don't you think we should have been told by HTM through an official PR?.

There is an interesting article on geothermal research council website.
It mentions a MOU between Taiwan and USA, specifically Idaho State. To jointly co-operate on exploiting there significant as yet untapped geothermal resources.
It stops short of specifically mentioning US Geothermal. However there are many other articles in Taiwan papers yesterday that does state specifically US Geothermal in the MOU.

I have emailed Saf at US Geo on this issue.
On further investigation NASDAQ, Marketwatch, Scott-Trade and Yahoo Finance all have EOY2011 results for HTM financials and EPS.
In effect unless you actually knew the HTM results from there conference call and PR, or looked on there website you would not know the massive improvement in financial performance last quarter 2012.
This cant be helping the SP situation!.
Does anyone know who is responsible for updating these sites with that info?.
The actual results were released March 27th, 3 Weeks ago!.

I don't know who s responsible for updating the results on the NASDAQ website for HTM in terms of EOY2012 and EPS, also on Yahoo finance.
I can't be helping that these sites still don't show the YE Dec 2012.
Anyone looking would see the not so good YE 2011 results.

With today's announcement from IRS on PTC rules on the definition of -start of project-.
I am guessing Kunz will be looking under the bed to find 5% of the money to start SE phase 2.
I guess he will need $2M for a 10MW output plant, he has that cash from the last share sell and NHS cash grant.
Lets hope he uses it. It makes sense for to receive 30% of the plant costs in return.
If I am right expect an announcement on this in the next few weeks.Sentiment: Strong Buy
