There is no reason to buy stock in a failing company. The stock is essentially worthless, unless they sell off the assets before they file for BK. That's the only way the common stock holders would get anything here long term. imo
That's meaningless. The company has to continue executing its plan. Unless you are suggesting they sit in a corner and do nothing while they wait for a suitor to call?
I get a kick out of people trying to make a big deal about insider sales. They are totally meaningless.
It is illegal for them to sell if they are aware of pending bad news. That's why they set up scheduled sales ahead of time. So these sales are all part of a plan that was made a long time ago.
The negative posters will need to find something else to make me question ACHN. This isn't it.
Anyone remember where BIIB was trading when Martha Stewart sold it and went to jail? For those who don't recall it was around $50. Now it's over $300. So much for insider trading.
I would be shocked if this doesn't trade to the 52 week high today. Good luck, you're going to need it.
Everyone knows at this point.
Agreed. It's pretty obvious. Sitting on a pile of shares. Not selling until the deal is announced.
We've had a month of Friday OE's with a pop on each one. Let's see if the pattern continues.
I suspect it is the MM's buying calls and then running the stock price up to take stock away from the call sellers. In other words the are accumulating a massive amount of shares.
Good daytraders trade with the trend not against it. The bulk of your trades here should have been long over the last month. You are timing ripples when you could be timing the waves.
Only a person in complete denial would say he has no regret over that. Sorry but you're full of it.
You're also going to regret when this gaps up to over $40 soon. Hopefully you won't be in the middle of one of your 0.25 scalp shorts when that happens. We already have a large percentage of the country on food stamps we don't need to add to that.
The stock is clearly being heavily accumulated with every drop actively being bought. Shorts are in deep trouble now. The stock will make new highs soon (days). May leave the teens too. Exciting times.
They have no future. No prospects. No viable product. They had a chance to do something, but squandered it. It's over. Bankruptcy inside of two years.
Agree 100% their best choice is to shut the doors sell the IP if they can and distribute whatever is left to the shareholders while they still can.
Look at the trading. It's obvious. MM's collecting call writers stock for a month straight. Look at the pops on every expiration. That is not normal. Typically stock price is suppressed on OE.
