Lets see how far down we can drive this pig

Owens FAILED to see the bullish Ascending Triangle that formed between Nov & Feb 1st, that predicted the next high to be near $10. Insider trading causes chart formations. They are privy to future news events and load up before the event goes public.

Never bet against a reliable bullish chart formation, and the ascending triangle is as reliable as they get.

the threat of batteries-in-the-basement and a complete disconnect from the grid.

That threat is close to zero. Storing energy in batteries is EXTREMELY expensive, and also problematic. Batteries also wear out & require EXPENSIVE replacement. Solar is also a PAIN when installed on the roof. Bird poop, dust & pollen dropping on the panels can seriously degrade power. Who wants to crawl around on the roof washing power panels?

For homeowners, solar is not all gravy. I know because I have solar with battery backup. Battery backup & solar must be IMMENSE to keep power running through a week of cloudy days that we see especially in the winter. Cloudy weather slashes solar power by 80%.

At current prices, no one can afford solar and batteries to power through a week of cloudy weather. Don't be brainwashed by overly optimistic reports on solar. It is a nice story that sounds good for those who don't know the downside.

There is no power when the sun sets, so electric utilities are not going away. At best, solar power can contribute to the grid power at noon sun +- 2 hrs, to be resold by he utility at a profit. So not to worry.

Freedman, IMO, you are correct, and it is headed MUCH higher in 2016.

NextEra Energy Inc.’s Florida Power & Light Co. is planning to build three solar plants to triple its photovoltaic capacity by the end of 2016, announces plans to install more than 1 million solar panels at three additional solar power plants. The utility is adding more than 1 million panels to increase output capacity to about 335 megawatts from 110 megawatts, Quarterly revenues surged 28.5% from $3,630 million a year ago, also don't forget they are replacing expensive oil for wind power in Hawaii. Expect BIG gains in profits from Hawaii.

This is a GREAT growth stock, already kissing new highs today. After clearing stops below $105, expect a surge to new highs.
