Right now AINV is an income producer for me and I reinvest the dividends. I figure at the low prices I will be able to buy more shares and so offset a dividend reduction, if it happens. As long as AINV remains viable then at some point it will all turn around.
I agree. I just let the dividends reinvest and so they average down the overall investment over time. And then when it rebounds things will look even better. This is toughest on the guys looking for appreciation.
Yes, this seems to be very logical. At the same time when the share price does bounce back (when oil prices inevitably increase) in the future then they can reissue those same shares at the higher price.
Seems there is a lot going on. You got the Fed, you got the oil, you got nearly X div day. Then too, it's the time of the year to sell off losses to go against gains and we know AINV has been a loser this year. As long as they are making money it will be okay. Oil and energy will get more expensive.
